Clarins Blue Orchid Face Treatment 30ml Oil

I went into Ulta one day to purchase a foundation and ended up leaving with this product. The price is up forsure there but the product itself smells very very good. The reason why I purchased this one was because my make up was beginning to look very Cakey and dry and the girl at Ulta suggested I begin to moisturize my face at night with oil. Blue orchid treatment oil

Let's start with the fragrance.. Oh, my goodness!Think luxury, think heavenly, the fragrance is stunning.It smells expensive and exotic.The oil is light and sumptuously hydrating, warm a tiny amount in your hands, breathe in the warm aroma and apply to your face.I also use it on my hair, my lips, elbows, feet, anywhere I need deep hydration.A little goes a long way so it works out to be good value for money.I can't recommend this product highly enough.I am 60 years young and have been using Clarins products since I was in my late 20s.

Can't Live Without It!

I have been using this fabulous face oil for about 5 years now. The smell is beyond wonderful; I feel like I'm in a upscale spa for the few seconds when I apply it each morning. I spritz a bit of rosewater on my face then apply the oil to lock-in the moisture. My face, neck (and nose!) love it and this makes my skin look very hydrated. I can't bear to waste a single drop and actually find this to last quite a long time (a little goes a long way!).

Dessert for the skin

I love in SoCal where Santa Ana winds are ruthless on delicate vegetation and my already dry skin. This oil gives my skin the desperately needed protection and comfort during those times and on those days when my moisturizer needs that something extra. Although some may have complained about the scent of this oil, I absolutely enjoy it. The strong botanical smell brings my mind at ease and sets the mood that "help is on the way" whenever the desert winds are cruel. I appreciate the creation of this essential product in my skincare arsenal and hope Clarins NEVER discontinues it.

Great for skin, not keen on the smell!

This is seriously nice for the skin - makes mine supple and as if 10 yrs younger! I can almost dispose with serum + moisturiser and just use this tbh. Absorbs nicely into skin after a shower. But it does have a strong, spicy, patchouli-type smell which takes a while to fade on the face. If you like those scents (I don't) then it would probably be a 5 star. I would probably still repurchase just for what it does, though.

Hydrates and smooths dry skin

This oil is great for when skin feels dry. My skin was feeling dry and looking tired after winter and I was recommended this blue orchid face treatment oil. It’s perfect for sensitive skin and it hydrates and makes my face look radiant, brighter and not as tired. It’s easy to use, the dropper is hygienic and I only need a few drops which I firmly pat in. It smells beautiful and the oil is silky and luxurious and feels light and comfortable to wear with no greasy or oily feeling at all. It sinks straight in and has helped a lot with dryness. It’s packaged really nicely and looks like a luxurious treat. I love clarins products and this face treatment oil was a winner for me

My favorite oil

This oil is one of the best facial oils I’ve used. It smells amazing and is so hydrating for my skin. It doesn’t leave my skin oily but gives amazing moisturizing effects. It makes my skin look dewy and softens the look of my 57 year old face. I have very sensitive skin and rosacea and I do well with this oil. Whenever I have a product I don’t like the smell off (lactic acid, etc) I always apply this over it, and on my neck and hands so I can smell this beautiful scent instead.So happy I found this oil and I highly recommend it to others! A little goes a long way. I only need a couple drops for my hands and a couple for my face and neck. The scent makes me happy and cheers me up whenever I use it. My new favourite Clarins product!

I have only been using this for a week and the results are amazing so far.After ordering a sample and instantly falling head over heels for it on my first application, I knew this was a keeper and ordered a full size the very next day.First the decadent feeling of the oil as it touches your skin, is like no other type of oil or serum I have tried before. Just by using a few drops this has a sensation of wealth and high viscosity to it. Fine lines seem to disapear too - I can see a difference in a just one application.I have struggled with occasional adult eczema/acne breakouts around my jaw line area and having just had a bad one that I could just not clear up for months, this has instantly bought it under control in a matter of a few uses to the point I now just have a couple of fading red marks where the problem areas were. Amazing!! I knew the breakouts were to do with dehydration so to find a product thst actually hydrates is a Godsend!Then there is the smell. There is an instant hit of patchouli, but not the cheap hippy aroma I associate with my youth, but the heavy, rich and expensive scent, It is almost royal in its imaginings as it fills the senses, yet calming and relaxing and ideal to treat yourself before bedtime to feel just like a Queen (or King!).

Not recommended

It's really strange smelling oil to apply everyday. Few 1-2 drops enough for entire face skin. I am not sure, how I will finish this oil. I wish Clarins sell much smaller quantity with cheaper price to start with. They say 30 days money back guarantee, but that is not true. Small print says they don't return if product has opened. Only way to know if product works is to open and try out!! Return policy is such a joke.

Quality skin oil for neck and décolleté,

Blue Orchid Face Cream Oil has become a favorite product of mine. I recently ordered my second bottle. I think the skin oil is absorbed well by the skin. It nourishes and helps to hydrate the skin. I live in a large city and the pollution quotient rises in the heat of summer so I feel it is protective too. The oil has a pleasant, mild natural fragrance. One bottle lasts a long time. I use maybe 3-4 drops of the oil both a.m. and p.m. on my face after cleansing and on the décolleté area.
