Has a wonderfully nourishing, hydrating ingredients and texture. Can feel it penetrates lips and softens. I use this on my children also in winter when they suffer dry patches and dry cracked lips. Don't use around my eye around. This is my second jar. Lasts ages. I also think it improves the longevity of my lip filler.

It also slides right off my lips & is easily licked off accidentally as well. My lips are still sensitive feeling from being chapped, & they don't feel plumped at all, they are still peeling too, which is ugly, annoying, & painful! Their Lip Comfort Oil soothes & plumps my lips so much better!! To be fair vaseline and/or mineral oil has never done a great job on my lips, even when used preventively. I much prefer Chapstick & thicker waxier balms like Burt's Bees original lip balm. But I just didn't realize how greasy & vaseline like this balm/cream was going to be from the description & reviews. At age 47 my lips are losing volume too & I had high hopes this would help with that as they claimed, but nothing happened! I'm really disappointed with this product, as well as surprised!! This is the first Clarins product I've bought/tried that didn't help at all! I do like the Clarins balm that comes in the blue squeeze tube though, that's much thicker & feels extra soothing & lasts much longer. But I really wanted the extra benefits that this balm claimed to provide. I really wish I had the wonderful experience like everybody else here & don't understand why I didn't have the same? It's also very overpriced! I really hate to leave negative reviews, but it is my honest opinion & maybe it might help someone else.PS - I also noticed when this travels off my lips onto my face, it itches an awful lot! I think I may have a little allergy to one or more of the ingredients - I've had similar trouble with shea butter in the past causing red, irritated, & itchy skin. I highly doubt anyone else would have a similar reaction, I'm just allergic to ANYTHING "natural" & it's so not fair!! Having read all the reviews for this product, I had very high hopes.It is a lovely lip balm with no fragrance but it doesn't really suit being in a pot.I usually wear the Dior lip balms, which are fantastic and in bullet form. I will continue to purchase those.I probably would buy this again if they can put that exact formula into a bullet.It's still a lovely balm and I have it on my bedside table to use of a night and in the morning.

I bought this to,use on the area between my nose and top lip which tends to appear a bit creased in the mornings. I spoke to the consultant at the counter in Norwich who assured me that this balm was perfect for that area. I suppose I was looking for a miracle product but, although it is pleasant to use, gliding on and quickly absorbed, it makes absolutely no discernible difference to the appearance of my contours or top lip.The jar is small but a little product goes a long way. I've been using it daily (in the mornings) for about 6 months and there is still quite a bit left in the jar. It feels like a luxury product but I won't be purchasing it a second time.

The pot is small, and I would have expected a tiny spatula, but using my thumb nail as the spatula I applied the soft waxy cream to my lips, and wiped the excess down the sides into the skin creases. Being summertime my lips were not particularly dry, but I certainly felt an improvement in the softness of my lips and the surrounding skin.
