I cannot rate this cream highly enough. I suffer with acute eczema and my skin is extremely dry. I also have severe allergies. Since using this cream my face has completely healed. My skin on my face was constantly flaking, red, itchy and very sore. I cannot believe the difference in such a shot space of time. I no longer use any steroids. I received a sample bottle in exchange for my honest feedback of the product and I have been able to use it every night for 2 weeks now. I would imagine a full bottle could last around 6-8 months.Bottom line, HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product!

My skin actually soaked it up quite well and I used approximately a flat dime-sized amount. About 5 minutes after application, the only place I could barely tell anything was there was the apples of my cheeks, but that’s where I put much more product at night due to dryness and uneven texture. Absolutely no complaints about how it feels on my face. I love that my face doesn’t feel sweaty underneath.Day 2: I put on a little too much. I’ve included a picture of how much I used.Day 5: I went to the website to take a closer look at their products and found some videos about how much and how to apply the lotion. It’s called the #ClarinsApplicationMethod, and I have been using their method from about Day 5 until now and will continue to use it. It helps the product to sink in and is a good reminder to get your neck and to be gentle.As much of a day and night skincare junkie that I am, there were about 4 times during the period from 12/27 and 1/19 that I missed this final part of my routine. It’s because I always wait until everything else has sunk in to put on my lotion and occasionally I forget to go back and finish. But even missing a few times, I am super impressed with @Clarins Extra-Firming Night Cream, at least what I could tell with approximately 3 weeks of use. With the results I obtained almost immediately, I’d say it’s a pretty good indicator of what is to come. I have had absolutely no adverse reactions, only great looking skin. I am not kidding when I say that by the next day of using this moisturizer, my skin was more even-toned and brighter. After 2 weeks of using my skin was noticeably smoother. Impressed is an understatement. *I have stopped using foundation.* I have just been using my favorite primer with a little blush. I am truly impressed and give this product a definite 4 1/2 stars (1/2 a star off because of the price since I want both day and night and because it gets a little runny). This moisturizer is a staple that I don’t want to be without. My face was super dry. Fine lines all over. Powder would get caught in lines. I got this cream. I put 2 layers on at night. It is not overly heavy so that you cannot sleep but it is moisturizing. My fine lines are going away and my skin is healing. It has a luminous look in the morning. Make sure to also drink water during the day.

However, this is why!!! The cream was very hydrating and penetrated the skin almost immediately without a greasy feel to the skin. I actually did feel an instant gratification of tightening and tingling like it was activated without being bothersome and I have sensitive skin and would know right away. The next day my hands where I used the extra on top... looked so hydrated and felt soft. The texture of my face looked smoother and felt softer without getting all over my pillow case so I know it penetrated my skin and didn’t leave “feel Good ingredients ” on the top just to seem softer when applying it. It almost felt like a creamy serum whereas the day cream was a little thicker and I used it as my primer. This is a great night cream for hydration and firming. If your elasticity is needing some help get this and don’t give up after a night! Use the entire jar a little goes a long way and you’ll see results in time with consistent use. Love it.
