This is absolutely the BEST foundation I have every used! I’ve tried couple of sample packets before committing to a whole bottle, and never regretted it. Usually foundations tend to be too heavy too drying on my skin, so I opt for tinted moisturizers most days. However, as soon as I tried this one, I was sold. It is very liquidy, unlike many other foundations on the market. It blends seamlessly, and stays on the whole day! It’s so light, but hides skin imperfections perfectly. Clarins was the first high-end makeup I ever used. It has a lot of hits, this foundation is one of them. I’ve used this for years; mostly on clients, but occasionally on myself. It looks phenomenal in any lighting situation, so it’s one of my go-to makeup products for portraits. It’s a skin-like foundation that’s extremely lightweight. Light-med coverage works well on everyone! Has a serum-like consistency with an SPF of 15. Does have some fragrance, but I’ve never had an issue using this on anyones skin or even my sensitive skin. It has a glowy finish and does get slightly dewy after hours of wear, but I never mind since it’s the look I am always going for. Works well on all skin types. Amazing natural no makeup look

I called Clains to help me select a shade, and the counselor recommended "honey". Just received it 2 days ago and I am amazed how perfectly natural "no-makeup" look it is, at the same time it evens out my complexion and covers small flaws. I don't think it would work so well if you need a lot of coverage. Although perhaps here and there you could use concealer with this product. It is in fact buildable and super natural. Honey really isn't that dark! - I do wish there was a better "find your shade" tool on the Clarins site. I ended up double checking with the Clarins find your shade app on the Macys site. In any case I ended up with the correct shade. & Very happy with my purchase.

Light coverage but doesn’t last all day

I’m reluctantly still buying this foundation despite the fact that they changed the formula a few years ago. It’s ‘just okay’ in my opinion. Prior to the change this was the best foundation I’d ever come across and I’d regularly receive compliments, I haven’t had any since they changed it, and the sales person was insistent that it was the same formula in a new bottle! I have used it for 10+ years on my sensitive acne prone skin. The newer watery formula barely stays on my face until lunch time, the pipette application is messy and creates a lot of waste. Plus, it doesn’t quite reach the bottom! I struggle with anxiety it fills me with dread having to think about colour matching again in stores to find a replacement…otherwise I would change.

Love the product! Hate the bottle!!

I have used this foundation for about 3 years. I love it. Great coverage, lovely glowing finish and lots of nice comments about my skin. The downside that I wish Clarins would change, is the bottle, I have ruined countless, tops, jeans, carpet, from the pipet dripping or flicking foundation. Its a shame because the product is brilliant, but Ive considered changing after a spot of foundation dripped onto the grey jeans I was wearing last week! Please Clarins fix this!

Lovely stuff - less is more!

I love this lightweight fluid foundation, it goes on easily (watch out, it's really runny so use the dropper) without dragging or drying, you really only need a small amount and it's best when warmed a bit on the back of my hand I find. I'm 72 but instead of using more foundation or a thicker type, I find this gives a much more youthful look than old-style heavy pancake makeup! I use a tiny bit of thicker concealer mixed in with it and applied with a concealer brush for any dark areas around inner eye/nose area where I need a bit more coverage. It really does what it says.. complete illusion of no-makeup makeup. Perfect for those who just need a bit of coverage and to even out skin tone. Make sure your skin is well hydrated (though this has been by my side through sunburns, roaccutane and prescription skincare for acne [not caused by this product]) and it will just sink into all your pores and blemishes, hiding everything!! Absolutely amazing product. I have tried other brands and products out of curiosity over the years but always come back to this one. If you're inbetween shades like me, buying two shades (I use 108 and 100.5) will get you a huge range of tones that work for summer and winter, just by varying the ratio of drops. My skin, but better!

I bought this foundation because I wanted to even out my skin tone for a wedding without looking like I was caked in product. This foundation is light, breathible, slightly fragranced and is barely noticible when its on, but in a good way! It gives my skin this bright, fresh faced look that I really love and is next to impossible to clock. I absolutely love it and I am not a person who wears make up usually! I also love the glass bottle and the little pipet lid that it comes with, looks very classy and holds so much product so you really feel like you've got your money's worth too.

New favourite foundation

I tried this after the formula for everlasting foundation was changed and I didn't like the change. I tried this and a sample of the everlasting youth expecting the skin illusion to fair worse due to it being light coverage. I was pleasantly surprised and ended up purchasing this foundation over any of the others. I'm 34 with dry skin and some redness, it was easy to build up coverage; I found using a foundation brush allowed me to get a heavier coverage (for lighter coverage I used my fingertips). A lot of foundations sink into my fine lines and make any fair facial hair really obvious. This doesn't at all and covers well, if it does sit in any fine lines slightly a quick press using fingertips solves it quickly. New holy grail!!!!

I'd just like to take a moment to appreciate this foundation! Everything I've been looking for and more! I'm 31 and usually wear too faced born this way which is still my go too if I want full coverage.. but this one is perfect!!! . Glides on effortlessly. Blends into my skin. Gives my skin a lovely natural glow. Feels like I'm not wearing foundation but its made my skin so perfect. I got a tester as I didn't want to waste money but I'm defiantly buying! Its just so amazing and doesn't exaggerate my fine lines its just beautiful.
