This overall good quality school shoe, however, after my 7th year in a row purchasing Clark’s school shoes for my kids, I strongly recommend going a size above the in store fitting measurements as they always end up being a bit too snug when they arrive. I’ve been told the shoe needs to “wear in” but this makes little difference. It would be great if there wear sizing shoes available in store (even if there is no stock in store) to allow for a proper fit out to support online orders. Aside from that, the shoes arrived quickly, they just won’t be of much use beyond the last few weeks due to the sizing issue, despite having gone a size up from the in store measurements provided. 3 stars for quality, 2 stars for comfort/sizing compared to most other shoes. Thank you.

These shoes are nicely cushioned, and didn’t require the ‘wearing in’ that other school shoes require. No complaints of sore feet from miss 5 either. The fit is a little on the wider side.

4 years in a row I have purchased these shoes for my active child. 4 years in a row they have lasted the full school year with lots of life left in them. They have played a thousand rounds of soccer, basketball and 'tip' on the playground and still look great in the annual class photo.
Great quality and fit. Couldn’t be happier. My yr 1 son finds them particularly manageable and can get them on and off very easily with the Velcro straps.
A great sturdy shoe and the perfect gender-neutral, Velcro-fastening alternative to the Mary Jane style. My only complaint is that the loops didn't last the whole year (so it didn't fasten very well towards the end of the year) but I just stuck some Velcro tape over the top, which solved the issue.
Best shoes I've brought for my boys, every other shoe has successfully failed after a few months of wearing. These Clark's shoes lasted my prepy boy the whole year with everything still in one piece! I have to admit the scuff marks on the front did happen on the front of the shoes within day 1 of school but just used abit of school polished and it done the trick. Nothing like a good feeling not having to buy multiple shoe shoes throughout the year for your kid
We’ve been searching for a quality pair of school shoes and these are it. It fits my son’s feet really well too considering I wasn’t too sure of the sizing as I bought it online.
My son loves these shoes, its very hardy and durable, he wore it through prep and now year 1. Being a very active child I am surprised how long it has lasted. Highly recommend.
These shoes are my go to for my son every year. They are comfy and supportive for him while adhering to the school rules. They last the whole school year if his feet don't grow too fast and then I can easily sell them as they are still in great condition!
