A handsome looking shoe made of good quality brown leather in a wide width, and well constructed with stitching around the sole and the top of the foot. There are no broken or skipped stitches. It is hard to find a wide size shoe in women shoes. The price was right and was shipped quickly to me.

I bought name brand Clark’s shoes which I have been wearing for years. One of these shoes fits differently than any other. I tried this style 1/2 size smaller in the store and it was more comfortable than these, my actual size.Poor quality control?

I have always leaned towards a loafer and this shoe has not disappointed.This shoe is true to size from what I can tell. I have a wide foot; fallen arches. And with some recent weight gain, I wear a size 7, but have been getting a 7 ½ wide or a size 8 regular in most brands. These were cuter than I thought. I was afraid they would look more like shoes for older people, but they are not that clunky and are cute with cropped pants and maybe skirts too. I needed comfortable and work-appropriate shoes with a wide toe box because that’s how my toes are shaped and shoes that taper at the toes (even when they are labeled “round toe”) end up hurting the joints at the big and little toes as my feet slide forward with wear during the day. Anyway, these are perfect width overall and also all the way to the ends of the toes, but they seem to run about 1/2 size too long. I’m usually a 7W or M if the shoe runs slightly wide, and occasionally 7.5. I got the 7W in these and there is some room at the back. Also, the sides of the shoes at the heel come ... Clark shoes have a great fit and are always comfortable as soon as you put them on. No "painful breaking in" period! No stores carry my size, 5, and I can always depend on Maryland Square to have many shoes to pick from.Thanks for a great catalog.
I was a little bit hesitant since I bought them online without trying them on. They are not flashy looking. But definitely very comfortable. I'm happy with this purchase. Also, I had a bone fracture with the side of my left foot early 2022. Comfy shoes are all I'm looking for now. They fit well without making my foot hurt after walking with them.
These shoes are well made and attractive, but there is a major discrepancy in the sizing in the different colors. Several months ago I bought a brown pair in Size 7D. They fit well and were very comfortable.I just bought two more pairs in black and pewter, same size. The black ones came through much to large and I'm debating whether to send them back or buy some real heavy thick socks. The pewter pair came through about halfway between the black and brown pairs. Definitely, larger than the brown. So buyer be aware.
I ordered two pair and sent back the other one. Unfortunately, I am stuck with the pair I had on the trip. Had to find heal guards so my heal would stay in when I walked. Had to take them off during the plane ride because they hurt my toes. Could find foot wear that didn't show either. I don't recommend these shoes.
What a great shoe. Worth every penny at regular price but even better when on sale. This shoe is comfortable and very wearable all day long right out of the box. Of course it is a Clark shoe so I would not expect anything less. I bought this shoe to go with jeans or casual slacks and skinny pants when I need more than a tennis shoe but not a heeled shoe. This fits the bill. Just enough detail to make it interesting and not a boring slip on and the heel is the perfect height for casual wear. I am not a fan of flats or semi-flats with skirts or dresses so I cannot comment on that but they are just great with pants. Worth every penny.
I first bought these in a textured finish. Loved them so reordered but the finish was different and something was wrong with the design . I kept them at home a while and had no sales slip, I forgot the source of this purchase and they remain in the box unworn. I wonder if Boscov's will accept this as a return?? I will contact customer service and hope you can help.
