Great for shirts. Years ago when I still ironed a lot of my business wear, I did use a similar product to this. So I was pleased to get this as a Bunch sample to give it a test, even though I rarely iron anything these days. I don't even own an ironing board now. I just have an ironing cloth that I spread out on the bench. But at least I do actually still have an iron!So yesterday we needed to attend a funeral which we know would be one where attendees would dress very smartly. So this Clean Iron Aid spray came in handy for me to iron my hubby's business shirt. It performed well, much as I remember from years ago. Unfortunately for me, I rarely iron anything, thank goodness, so this can will last me the rest of my days for sure.

Good Aussie Product. I have only given this product 3 stars as I had difficulty managing the spray nozzle. As my fingers are arthritic, they don't have the strength in them they once did. A trigger spray would have worked better for me. I don't usually use an iron aid (for above reason) but the one I once used, had a fresh, clean smell to it - this iron aid was odourless but did the job nicely. Although it Helped smooth out wrinkled clothing i would have preferred a nice "just washed" bouquet to it. Also noticed there was no residue on my iron which was something that used to happen with the one I used way back in the day. It's Aussie made & reasonably priced which is a huge asset but if I can't press the nozzle, it's useless to me. Sorry.

Unsure. It's weird, but I really like ironing - probably because I only have to do mine and not a whole family's. I've never used an iron aid before and was interested to try it. I used it on thicker cotton blouses that still retain some creases no matter how much I iron them. This didn't eliminate them but it did make them easier to iron and iron out any self-made creases. I found it worked well on cotton t-shirts. It would probably work best, as suggested, on thinner cotton shirts. I was a bit unsure about spraying it around carpeted floors because I thought it might leave a residue so I sprayed it in the bathroom where I could wash the tiles afterwards. I haven't needed it before and didn't find it a miracle, so I wouldn't buy it again.

Smells nice - cheap price. I cannot remember the last time I ironed - I literally had to wipe the dust from my iron. I really don't like ironing and try to avoid buying any clothes (or wearing any clothes) that need ironing. But I did have that one dress that needed ironing so it was time to do that when I got this sample. I dug out my really old and creaky ironing board and tried to remember the settings I needed on my iron. I have used this sort of spray before - most usually the store brand cheapest one I can find because not only do I not like ironing - I am not very good at it and things usually look like I haven't ironed them after I have - they still look like they have creases so anything that helps get them out is OK and I use them. When I dusted off the iron I also found a really old dusty spray bottle of faded ironing aid from Bi-Lo - a store that we haven't had here since the late 80's or early 90's????? So yeah it was good to have a new one!!! So I ironed my dress and the spray really did help I think. It does have a pleasant lemony smell which is nice. Above you can see the unironed side on the left and the ironed side on the right - it did a good job of helping get the creases out I thought. It's quite a large can so it will last "me" for ages as I rarely iron. The price is $2. 50. The can and lid are recyclable. If I needed some more I would buy again.

Works well but is it necessary. I’ve never used a starch spray before and had no idea what it was. I tried this on linen and cotton shirts but wasn’t convinced it made much difference to be honest. I did one leg with and one leg without it to see and think that it probably did make the iron glide better. However, with a steam iron, this works just as well. I disliked the smell and did not like the ocean of breathing in whatever chemicals are being sprayed about. I’m also not a sure I like the idea of coating my clothes and presumably my iron with this chemical. So for me, I wouldn’t use this product as can’t see that it is necessary or makes that much difference.

Clean Iron Aid. I finally got around to using this Bunch Sample, better late than never. I have used products similar to this in the past to help with the ironing. This Bunch Sample has quite a pleasant fragrance, it did a good job of getting the wrinkles out of the trousers. I didn't make it easy for myself, I did not get out my proper ironing board, instead I used an ironing mat on top of the freezer, the trouser material is Viscose, so not the easiest thing to iron smoothly. The Clean Iron Aid, did a good job and I am happy enough with the result. As you can see the photos the trousers were very wrinkled, before ironing them.

Easy to use. I wasn't sure if this type of product was around any more, and to be fair I haven't looked for it in ages. I used this type of product back in the late 70's, yes an oldie I am. Bought back alot of memories. I found the product very easy to use, no residule was left on my white linen shirt or pants. Easy spray nozzle, didn't clog up. Great pricepoint. Even though ironing is getting less and less these days I'll continue to use the Iron Aid, not real sure if I'll repurchase another can, but, I could get used to using this type of product again. Thankyou for the nostalgic memories.

Not for me. We would fall into the category of have an iron and use it occasionally category. We did pull out a few items to use this product on. Perhaps we picked the wrong ones because it only made a slight difference to the wrinkles. There was an air-freshener lemony scent and it was easy to use. Overall, probably wouldn't buy again as I don't iron enough to justify it, also we use sensitive laundry liquid - so these added chemicals were perhaps not the best. I would recommend it if you did a lot of ironing of business shirts, and you don't mind the chemicals. It would speed up the ironing process and gives better results.

Surprised how good it is! Ok - full disclosure - I'm not a huge fan of starch sprays so I used this with a big amount of doubt. Growing up my school uniform collar had to be starched and I can still remember that terrible smell and the sticky feeling the collar would leave on my neck when I got sweaty. I was incredibly glad then to find that this spray had a very pleasant and subtle lemon smell. So much better than starches of old. It also feels like it is very light and didn't leave a sticky residue. I ironed hubby's business shirts and the washing creases came out beautifully and the lemon scent didn't linger too long. Really clear instructions on the back - something that came in handy for a person like me who hasn't used this kind of product in many many years. ...Ā MoreSurprised how good it is! Made in Australia which is a bonus and a really good price considering this will last me quite a while. I look forward to using it on my spring/summer linen dresses when the weather warms up. No more crinkles! Thanks Bunch for a cool sample.
