Clear Care Plus With Hydraglyde contact solution is the answer to my contact problems. I was using a different brand solution for years, my eyes would be dry by the evening time, I’d have to “clear” my eyes frequently to see better. (If you’re a contact wearer, you probably know what I mean by that.) I thought the solution I was using was the best until I experienced Clear Care. Clear Care solution is the ultimate game changer. The bottle comes with a contact case that sits vertically to store your lens in each night. You WILL burn your eyeballs. Also place the contacts in the baskets before attempting to open the solution to fill it. If you get just a small amount of solution on your finger and take out your contacts, you’ll regret it. It sounds scary but if you do it properly this solution is the best that I’ve found! Highly recommend!

I have been wearing contacts for almost 20 years and this is the only contact lens solution that I will use. It effectively cleans and sanitizes my lenses. My eyes do not feel tired, heavy, and dry like they do when I use other solutions. I have tried other solutions without the hydrogen peroxide and it never fails, my eyes are always tired and dry. The only downfall to this is that they do have to soak for minimum 6 hours. If you take your lens out for the night and decide afterwards you need to go out somewhere, you are out of luck, you have to wait for 6 hours. You do not want to make the mistake of putting contacts in prematurely as this will BURN. Another downfall, you do use more than the other typical solutions, and it is more expensive, but in my opinion it ... MoreI have been wearing contacts for almost 20 years and this is the only contact lens solution that I will use. I would give it a million negative stars if that was an option. BEWARE!! If you have a sensitivity or a full blown allergy to polyvinylpyrolidone or any of the polymer’s variations, DO NOT USE THIS or ANY solution that contains Hydraglyde. It is a code name for PVP also known as Povidone which has caused documented cases of anaphylaxis. I’m currently recovering from the effects of using Clear Care Plus because I mistakenly purchased this product instead of Hydraglyde free Peroxide cleaner. Like another reviewer, I am experiencing temporary uncorrectable visual acuity changes caused by terribly swollen corneas. My optometrist said my contacts had a film on them, even though I had cleaned them well with a multipurpose cleaning solution and soaked them overnight. I had noticed they were a little unclear and were irritating my eyes. When I told my daughter, she recommended I try Clear Care Plus. I noticed a difference the very first time I used it. Every morning when I put in my contacts, they are clear and I do not have to take them out and re-insert them as I was having to do with the other solution. I won’t use any other contact lens cleaner!
I thought i would give Clear Care Plus a try for cleaning my contact lens vs the traditional rinse requiring me to manually clean the lenses with my fingers. I have only used for 3 days and followed the instructions for a 6 hour soak to allow solution to neutralize. I had my contacts in for no more than 3 hours when i noticed everything starting to haze over - never happened with my contacts in 20 years! I immediately removed my lenses only to find that the haze was still present. I now started to become concerned and decided to search on "Clear Care Plus cloudy eyes". The results were astonishing! It seems that what I experienced is somewhat common with the use of this product. Fortunately shortly after removing my lenses my eyes cleared. I really like this stuff. I've worn contacts for over 25 years and have always used the Opti-Free solution (or whatever it was back then too). It did its job and was/is good. I had a coupon for Clear Care and decided to try it out. I LOVE it! I can definitely feel a cleaner difference in my lenses. They're more comfortable...even after I wear them over a month to squeeze every bit of life out of them I can. I'm following directions to a T and make sure I soak them for at least 6 hours and do not rinse my lenses with the solution. I have the regular solution for just incase one falls off my finger on its way into my eye.I feel like I use way more solution with this one than the regular solution, but if it gets more life out of my contacts, I guess it's a win-win.
This is my favorite contact solution. Don’t make the same mistake as me. Don’t store this near your saline. I was paying zero attention, I accidentally used this to rinse my lens before inserting it into my eye. I used this mistakenly, the bottle is extremely similar (white cylinder) to my saline solution. I had to go to the doctor and am being treated for a burn on my eye. I know this is not their fault but the doctor said this happens frequently. Hopefully the company cares enough to change the shape of the bottle or changing the feel of the bottle. I will be switching back to another brand that will not possibly damage my cornea.
My eye doctor recommended Clear View when I asked. She explained the benefit of hydrogen peroxide for thorough cleaning. She also cautioned to use for at least 6 hrs for the hydrogen peroxide to neutaluze or rinse contacts with another solution (otherwise likely sting). This info is on the product.Works well for me. I put my contacts in the container with Clear Care solution at night and next day just put my contacts directly in my eyes.#sweepstakes
I was provided this product for free in exchange for my honest review. That being said, I was already a user and have been using the regular Clear Care solution for many years I've also now been using the HydraGlyde version since it came out. I'm not a generally lazy person, but I do get up well before dawn and have to get to bed before the sun sets in the summer in order to get enough sleep for work. So since my time is limited, anything that can shorten my evening and morning routine is a plus in my book. So since my time is limited, anything that can shorten my evening and morning routine is a plus in my book. The Clear Care solution has always done a great job at cleaning my contacts well and leaving them feeling good as new when I put them in again in the morning. The regular Clear Care solution has done that for me for years, but now with the HydraGlyde version, they feel not only refreshed, but practically like brand new lenses each morning. The extra lubrication makes all the difference, especially if you've had a long day of wearing them and your eyes would usually feel dry by the end of your day. Since this stuff achieves its cleaning power using hydrogen peroxide, it is of UTMOST IMPORTANCE that you use ONLY the included lens cleaning container and that you let them clean for AT LEAST six hours, or you will be dealing with some burning eyes. The packaging warns you of all of this, but some folks still don't seem to listen. I find that 8+ hours is even better for neutralizing all the peroxide with zero burning afterwards. But follow the directions and you'll be just fine!
This stuff is overpriced and does not clean any better than basic saline contact solution. The hydrogen peroxide might clean well but it also burns you eyes. You waste so much more of the normal saline with this CleanCare because you have to really wash them well or your eyes will be bloodshot red. they will burn and sting. This was my first and last time with Clean Care. Alcon got you guys hooked. Its 5 times nore expensive, it burns your eyes, and you use more of your regular saline to clean the burning solution off the lenses. Great for alcon bad for the consumer.p.s. written while my eyes are watering from this horrible contact solution
