I wore jellies when I was a young girl in the 70s. I liked them then, but they weren't very comfy. Fast forward to 2024 - they're now cool and comfortable, and I LOVE them! I love how the Melissa brand took these classic shoes and made them ultra comfy. I bought them in clear so that my socks will change the color of them to coordinate with whatever outfit I'm wearing. FUN!! Like all Jelly shoes, they do have a scent. In my opinion, the scent isn't off-putting, rather, it smells kind of sweet.

They're adorable! But given the persistence of winter where I live, all I've done is try them on. Everything is good —color, fit, feel. The only 'but' is the in-out ... the buckle isn't terribly functional; it proved hard to open for me so I didn't force it. This means I'll be stretching the back strap to get in and out of them, and worry that will "break" them at some point. Any tips about navigating the buckle? Or assurance that working my foot in & out won't damage the shoes prematurely? Other than that—wonderful shoes!

ADORE these perfectly iridescent pearly lavender blue jellies. They make me feel like a fairy goddess. Comfortable on my wide feet after an all day wear. But they smell awful! I left them sitting outside all night long before my first wear and was STILL embarrassed being close to people cause I didn't want them to think that awful chemical smell was my normal scent. I know the new collection has a strawberry/candy scent to them, but unfortunately these don't have it. Otherwise I love them but it's a huge downside. Fits perfectly according to normal size.

These shoes are so comfortable. I have wide flat feet, size 10. I suggest to order a size up if you have wide flat feet. I ordered a size 11. I wasn't sure if they were going to fit or be comfortable. When I first opened the box, I got that bubble gum smell that brought me back to my childhood, and I was so surprised at the quality of the shoe. The shoe holds my foot in without feeling like it's going to break and very easy to put on. When put them on I kept them on all day and forgot that I had them on. I love them and will definitely be getting more. My sister was there when I opened my box and she got nostalgic too and saw how durable and cute they were, and she ordered her a pair. I wasn’t sure if these would give me blisters like the jellies I had when I was younger but these are 1000% upgrade. They are so easy to put on (I don’t even undo the strap) and has a great cushion. I get compliments every time I wear them. The only thing is that if you are walking around a gravel/rock area the rocks will get stuck in the bottom but I just pull them out if that happens. For fit I got a size 7 and they fit perfect, I have a wide toe box and it does not get squished. If you are between sizes I would def size down, I am a 7-7.5 depending on the brand. I probably could have gotten a 6 but I think it would have been too snug around my foot. I have the green color and they are easy to take and rinse off if they get dirty. I’ve always had a very big foot, so as a kid I was never able to wear jellies because they never had my size. These ones fit so perfect! They're super comfy to wear, I was a bit worried about them because of how the bottoms are constructed but you don’t even notice it when you’re wearing them. Theyre super cute to wear with some frilly ankle socks and are everything I hoped they would be.Will def be buying a cute colored paid later!
I had these when I was a kid. I think they had silver glitter in them then and I wore them all over sweltering Chicago summer. I'm sure I begged my grandmother for these until she gave in. This was when kids literally only had a few pairs of shoes, so when you got something it had to count. These are super comfortable. But, I am a true 8.5 and I got a 9. They are a little loose on me and I had to tighten the strap all the way to the last hole, but the 8 would have been too tight at the toes. Wish you had 1/2 sizes.I try to live my life as plastic free as possible, but I made an exception for these. I LOVE the range of muted neutral colors. But, how can you go wrong with clear.

I did try them on at the end of the day (best time to with feet more accurate in sizing) and have been wearing them every other day for a week now to confirm that going with the size 10 was the perfect choice.I did prefer the more fitted shoe cage and feel when trying on the 9 initially, but my toes just touched the front of the shoe/PVC cage when standing and walking. The tiny bit more toe room in the 10 definitely seems like it was the better choice after having worn them through the day at this point.If I would've JUST tried the 9 - I would've thought they were good to go. If I JUST tried on the 10, I also would've thought they were good to go. However, I would suggest if you have a really narrow foot and wear a 9-9.5 then the 9 will work for you (unless you plan to only wear these with thicker socks, then you may want to size up to a ten). If you're a primarily true 10, 90% of the time like me, with an average width/narrowish foot, stick with the 10. Your toes will thank you for it, plus you can wear socks or not and be comfy in either scenario. If you are a 10 with average to wide-ish feet, definitely get the 10.I hope this helps... it was basically the review I was looking for before I got these! :) oh and P.S. They are SO much more comfortable, flexible, and breathable than I anticipated!!! Speaking of breathability, I feel like the size 10 also allows a little more air flow thanks to not being as fitted. And the slight bubble gum smell seems like it will slowly fade away whether you're a fan or not. It doesn't bother me either way. They seem like they will last forever... I really hope they do. Highly recommend!
Frankly very happy with these! I ordered a 44 first bc I hate when a sandal is too big but it was a little too tiny because of the rounded toe box. So I recommend sizing… up? Or to your “true” size, no need to size down (as opposed to say a Birkenstock).They’re very comfortable and i can wear them without socks and be fine for long stretches and even walks. And they’re cute and feminine without being formal. I say go for it.

My feet are a little wider and about a half a size difference, I usually wear an 8, and one foot is on the bigger side while the other is more of a true 8, so I ordered that size. It fit pretty well, just a little snug on the larger foot, but the adjustable strap makes it a bit better. They are a bit narrow though. It would be cool if they offered half sizes, I probably would have gone with an 8.5 if they had them.The one major complaint I have is the smell! It is so potent, the first day of wearing them in my office, they smelled up the whole room and it was a bit nauseating and gave me a headache! After a couple of days of wearing them, ...
