I bought a few different flavoured samples of the vegan clear protein. The best one by far is the apple and elderflower. It’s got a nice sweet kick to it and leaves a nice after taste. The lemon and lime flavour is not very nice it taste too acidic, blackcurrant is okay and raspberry mojito is far too minty I couldn’t finish the whole thing. Defiantly make sure you leave to stand for a minute or too after shaking as it makes the taste much better. It also mixes really well. If you’re using a shaker with the metal ball inside there are no lumps left what so ever. I defiantly recommend this but if you haven’t tried it yet buy some samples first as some flavours are defiantly better than others Goes Well With: Water and a good shaker

I am really really sensitive with drinking protein drinks/shakes and I’ve tested and drank so many that it either does not taste good, makes my stomach upset, or even have a weird after taste or like a film like texture. But this one gave me a shock! its literally like drinking a fruity juice!!! I actually tried the lemon and lime flavor first and its not to my liking so i tried this Raspberry Mojito flavor and it is such a delight to drink! it taste like one of those raspberry candies. its easy to mix and there is no after taste or film at all. and I can confirm that this does not upset my stomach. Its soo light to drink! Goes Well With: Water and creatine

I have tried MANY 'traditional' vegan protein shakes, and no matter the manufacturers claims, they have all tasted like peas, they have a gritty texture, or are just flat out revolting. Myprotein's Clear Vegan Protein is an absolute game changer. Tasting like a refreshing juice/squash drink, it mixes instantly and is a delight to drink ...no chugging required! It's a touch light on the protein at around 10g per serving, but as it's only around 50 kcals a serving, just double up. The kcal:protein ratio is similar to most whey based protein shakes. If you're on the fence, honestly, try it! Goes Well With: Ice

I am lactose intolerant to normal protein so I have to go for vegan protein options. I personally find it difficult to consume a protein shake every day for my daily protein intake as the vanilla/creamy shakes can be sickly after a while, so I was so happy to find this clear protein alternative! I bought some sample flavours because I made the mistake of buying a big bag of something before and hated the flavour - I bought blackcurrant, lemon & lime, and pineapple & grapefruit to try. I'd give P&G and Blackcurrant a 4/10 for flavour - too sickly sweet and artificial with a hint of bitterness aftertaste from the protein/additional ingredients. I have been using this for a few years now and I love it. It tastes great and mixes well. I always double the serving, but unfortunately I recently discovered that the packaging is incorrectly labelled. 1.5 scoops as suggested on the instructions IS NOT 16g of powder. You need two full scoops to get 16g and therefore 10g of protein. This is a shame, as I had to weigh my portions to eventually work this out, and it means the whole time everybody who follows the instructions has been and is still being ripped off as you're either using 1.5 scoops and only consuming 7.5g of protein, or using 2 scoops and getting less servings per package. Goes Well With: 500-750ml of water in a shaker.

I really couldn't stand more than the tiniest sip, before I had to literally rinse my mouth out. Many people don't seem to have this problem though, so a quick Google later and I discovered that the sweetener might be the problem. I tried an Unflavoured protein and the unpleasant taste was completely gone. Problem solved, I'll just flavour the shake myself. This product however, whether it's because there's a lower powder to water ratio in the shake, because there is a different amount of sweetener, or it's covered partially by the other flavourings, I don't know. Mixes well and that’s the only positive I can think of. I still can’t get the awful aftertaste out of my mouth and hour later. Synthetic tasting with pea protein also coming through. I had high hopes for this having previously purchased clear whey which is delicious. The taste itself is sweet and sickening- if you like flavour drops, you may well tolerate this - perhaps lots and lots of ice may also help. The aftertaste reminds me of stevia - even though it’s not listed in the ingredients. With only 10% protein, it’s not worth pushing through to the end of the tub. Lesson learned - either stick to what you know or buy samples. It’s a costly mistake otherwise.
Usually I don’t leave reviews but had to come back for this one. The taste is alright, if I were to nitpick the texture is a little interesting and the sweetness sort of synthetic, but definitely not unpleasant - a light and refreshing lemonade kombucha without the zing. THE BEST part is the macros and the GUT HEALTH BENEFITS it helps my bloating so much I love to take this as a protein top-up after dinner. The mixability is incredible and it’s honestly super sensitive to water so be careful when opening and scooping. Pricier than whey and whatnot but I’m definitely stocking up because it’s a staple for me now. Goes Well With: Cold water!!

It is refreshing to have something new which isn't creamy like the other protein powders.I recommend this when you want to mix this with your other powders such as BCAA's or EAA's which are often fruity flavor and you make yourself a nice fruity drink that tastes like fruity sweets (candy).The problem is that it doesn't mix so well when you use a spoon or a fork and keep whisking or stirring. Even if you whisk fast.The only way it dissolves is if you put it in a blender or bullet or any smoothie maker you have, then it finally dissolves.You can even blend it up with banana post workout and it will go quite well.Try it out and see, you might love it you might not but you will ...
