I've bought these a few times the past year really like them. I was a little worried at first that these pads would just cause more acne then help it clear up but that's definitely not the case. I have combination skin so I like to use these in the areas that are most problematic for me (T-zone) which is on my chin, nose that space between my eyebrows above my nose where I have the most issues with open pores, black heads oil. I definitely avoid my eyes with these! The container comes with 90 pads seems to last a long while. And this really does help reduce redness the size of a zit over night. I like being able to see the left over make-up dirt that my face wash didn't clean out, so it's a great feeling knowing that my pores have nothing left in them to cause more break outs. I use these every other day sometimes even less like 2-3 days a week. I would suggest this to someone that has oily skin, acne issues with open pores. This definitely helps clean out your pores reduce zits break outs. Plus it's rather inexpensive given the quality of this product!

Best thing for my acne prone skin

I am very happy with the Clearasil 4-hour Ultra Pads. I had used them for years and then then they added a scent and they weren't as effective. Then, they came out with a 5-hour pad with the same scent and I noticed the 4-hour pads disappeared from the shelves. I was so heartbroken because I tried the 5 hour pads and they wreaked havoc on my face. I am so happy these are back. I googled them thinking I would find them at some private seller website, but I was thrilled to see Target pop up in the search results. I ran to my local Target and picked them up. I just used them and only an hour later my skin feels so refreshed and I also noticed they went back to the original scentless formula! Yes!!! Clearasil vs. Stridex: clear winner is Stridex

Comparing this to Stridex Maximum 90ct salicyclic acid pads, Clearasil is left in the dust. The alcohol stings and these leave a tight, semi-tacky feeling on your face by comparison. I also preferred the texture of the Stridex pads. I was surprised given that I generally trust the Clearasil brand name. They may work, but why suffer in the process?

Fab brand and work!

These are fantastic. The other clearasil 5in1 pads dont suit my skin Im very reactive and sensitive. So its great Ocado sell these, however they seem out of stock so often grrr!!! I am getting sudden little break outs which I managed to avoid in my teens. So if youre getting plagued by spots, weather its one large sore one thats not shifting or you are just not as clear faced as your used to being, or react to all other brands you have tried I cant recommend these enough. I use them on pre washed skin and Im convinced they make a huge difference to clearing up spots.

Game changer!!!

This stuff has been a game changer for me. I use this before my prescription retinal and it has done wonders for reducing the hormonal acne I have. Yes it does contain alcohol and it is very strong. If you have sensitive skin I probably would not use this product unless you are able to handle the initial burn and moisturize directly after. The purpose of this product is to use a higher grade of acne medicine to reduce acne and yes this can cause redness or burning. It works! My skin is clearer than ever!

Great for cleaning

As a dad, I thought my days of acne would have ceased decades ago. Alas, this is not the case. These pads work great in removing excess oil and dirt and helping my face and upper neck stay spotless. I do believe they wouldn't help much if I had serious acne - a dermatologist can best address that issue. In addition to the obvious benefits, they're gluten-free and contain zero CFCs. I have purposely not included any photos to your benefit.

It made things worse

I purchased these when my normal acne pads were out of stock. Ended up having to take this with me on vacation. And ohhh boy wish I hadn’t. These burned my nose (main problem area) and would make my eyes water. At first I thought the product just wasn’t helping then I realized it was actually making things worse! My nose has more zits on it than at any point from when I was a teenager. Everyone’s skin is different and I’m sure it’s okay for some but this is hands down the worst product I’ve ever put on my face for my face. When I returned from vacation I found my normal product and I couldn’t believe what a night and day difference I experienced right away.

So far so good..

This is basically salicylic acid with minimal ingredients (minus the alcohol) so is great for sensitive acne-prone skin. I’d recommend using once daily at first and see how your skin gets on as it can sting and be a little drying if you’re sensitive/have dry skin/using other products especially acne meds. I find that I’m liking this better than other more popular SA products (Paula’s choice, bravura, Stridex) mainly because it can work just as well, is cheaper and easier to buy at the shops. I also find it to have better ingredients than the Clearasil 5 in 1 version which has added fragrance and menthol. Overall a great find!

Takes Time to Work But Did the Job

As an avid user of this brand. I was excited to try this as I had a few pimples that were bothering me on my face. I applied the treatment and waited to see how effective this gel would be after I washed my face with the scrubbing cream. I didn't see results after 4 hours but my pimples were visibly reduced the next day so I knew that the gel actually worked. I continued treatment for the next 2 days and they were both totally gone. I couldn't believe this gel actually worked because other brands I used left my face red with blotches. I'm a firm believer in this brand and will continue to use it again along with new products needed to improve my skin's appearance.
