We purchase the 26 count variety pack boxes (chocolate chip and crunchy peanut butter) regularly, and just restocked our pantry with 2 boxes on 05/15/23 from CostCo. Me and my two kids tried each of the 3 flavors of these chewy granola bars. My 3 year old didn't care for any of them, but my 5 year old loved them. I also really liked them. I usually prefer kids granola bars instead of the adult because I like the size better which holds true for these as well. I appreciate how not overly frosted they are! I do not tend to like chocolate chip cookies, but my favorite of the three flavors was Chocolate chip. It actually tasted similar to the dough, which is the part I do like in the cookie. It seems after Mondelēz International bought CLIF, the quality of CLIF Bars has become inconsistent. For example, the Cool Mint bars manufactured after Date Code 31JAN23 W1 18 07C picked up a sour taste and became extremely dry. The bars with Date Codes15MAR23, 26APR23, and 21JUN23 were unusually bad. I would avoid them. Now I only buy individual bars at the grocery store and get only 2 or 3. If they're a lousy Date Code batch, I stop buying them until my store puts out a new Date Code batch. Gone are the days I buy them in boxes of 12. Too bad. I shouldn't have to keep track of product Date Codes! Come on, Mondelēz International, you can do better.

I have no hope of Caramel Macchiato ever being brought back. But Peanut Toffee Buzz has a dedicated fanbase and one of the biggest fans is my brother! This flavor used to be my favorite. It was a good breakfast bar for me especially when I had gestational diabetes 5years ago (my dietician did the calculation). I didn’t know the recipe was changed when I got pregnant with my 2nd. I bought a huge pack of them because I had gestational again and knew they were a safe breakfast for me on the go. It has been almost year (if not more) and I still cannot finish them because they taste so bad. They are now overly sweet and no longer contain any macadamia nut pieces. I am just going to toss the rest. I tried but I just can’t force myself to eat them anymore. I like the Clif Bar Cool Mint Brownie ones now. Please don’t mess with that one, Clif!
