The blueberry clif bars I bought are delicious. Sadly, I am deeply disappointed in the limited choices and product availability for Clif bars in the last few months. These were a huge part of my daily meals at home and while hiking and camping, because there were so many choices my intake was not redundant. I am now in search of a new healthy bar to replace the dismal choices remaining in the current Clif Bar production. So sad!

On every workout morning (4 days a week) I have a chocolate chip or white chocolate macadamia nut cliff bar. Since it's a while before my breakfast, this gives my body the quick boost it needs. The only problem is that Clif Bar & Company insists on keeping Megan Rapinoe's name and picture on each chocolate chip bar. She is a poor choice, being one of the most polarizing sports figures in our great country. I know CLIF bars are not just sold in the US, but her vulgarity, disrespect and bully pulpit rants squarely disqualify her from the pedestal of "positive" role models. If Ms. Rapinoe is so ashamed of the USA, I don't see why CLIF keeps her on as a spokesperson/representative. Learn a lesson from other's mistakes (like Subway) before you lose half of your customers ... I have been enjoying the Cool Mint Chocolate Clif Bar for many, many years now. I use it before workouts and races--I'm a national class runner for my age (now 71). I love the taste and the little shot of caffeine. I have a whole history with Clif Bars where I would find a flavor I liked and then they would discontinue it. It was very frustrating. Fortunately, in this case, it seems I latched on to a flavor that lots of others like.

However, the availability has been problematic for a while now. Difficult to find the Mocha bars, even on-line from you guys?? Also, stopping production of the Dark Chocolate Almond with Sea Salt and Chocolate Peanut Butter with Sea Salt is devastating (ok a little exaggeration). I can only think those were not selling or not enough staffing or ingredients. Either way, that was a tough thing to swallow (pun intended). Love the Choc brownie and mocha but worried I cannot get more at some point

Its got too much sugar (16g) and a low amount of protein (10g). This is essentially a junk food item like a cookie but with a worse taste than an actual dessert. Its OK in a pinch (if starving) but given the choice there are MUCH better meal replacement bars/shakes that will satisfy your hunger and with less sugar too!Try Total Egg protein powder, or Muscle Pharm powder or bars. Perfect protein bars and Premier Protein are better as well…
It’s a Cliff “crunchy peanut” bar with a Delicious twist! Crunchy peanut base, mixed with a subtle banana flavour, blended with moorish pieces of dark chocolate. When I need a cheeky sweets fix but want a healthy option- CliffIf I’m hitting the gym, trails, road trip, no time for lunch at work, kids snacks- CliffDave & the team at PAST are always getting in fresh stock & are super helpful with getting everything packed well & sent ASAP. A1 service & swift communication. 👍🏼👍🏼
Every box seems to have a new experimental (or accidental?) formula. I can't trust opening a new box and knowing what I'm getting anymore. One box recently gave me diarrhea, which I'm pretty sure was due to an excess of chicory root fiber. The next one was really good, but the latest box tastes terrible. I'm serious, the ingredient levels are all over the place! I'm holding out hope that they can fix the quality issues and bring back the former glory of these bars.
I tried the regular Cliff Bars as a quick, somewhat healthy, snack while I'm running errands and forget to eat. They are a quick fix, and keep hunger at bay for an hour+. However, they are way too sweet. 21 g of sugar compared to 6 g in a Hershey Bar. I tried the Builder's Protein Bars. I liked them better because they taste less sweet, but they still have 17 g of sugar. A lot of the reviewers for the Builders commented negatively on the sweetness. Maybe you can offer versions that have less sugar for those of us who don't want something sweeter than a candy bar. Or, you target the regular Cliff bars for the average consumer who doesn't mind the sweetness. Then, target the Builders Bars for people who don't want all the extra sugar.
I am currently battling cancer and eat at least one every day for the protein I need. So far, of the flavors I've tried, my two favorite ones are your peanut butter crunch bar & your chocolate brownie bar. My only criticism is that I wish the brownie bar was as smooth as the peanut butter bar. For me, the brownie bar is hard to chew...just wish it was a bit more soft like a regular brownie. My next purchase will be your 36-bar variety pack, so I can sample more flavors. Any discount coupon(s) you can send to me will be very much appreciated...Happy Holidays!
