Got into triathlon this year and these are my go-to snack bars for fueling. The rides and runs as well as just on the go snacks for work. They're tasty, convenient, and filling without upsetting your stomach. They also have clean ingredients which is vital and overall a high recommendation. My go-to flavors are white, macadamia and mint chocolate chip.
I use these for replenishing energy in the middle of a long bike ride (after around an hour or 30km of riding).Is easy on my stomach (i tend to puke if the bar is too heavy) and gives me a relatively quick boost to replenish the energies. However, texture is grainy so you would definitely need to wash it down with some water. Portion/ size is just nice.What is best for me is that it is not covered in cream, and its number 1 benefit for me is that it does not melt while I am riding around in the sun.I found it tasty, feels quite natural (subjective) although perhaps a little on the sweet side.Overall i think it is a solid 4.5 /5 (but gave 5 stars). Going to try the peanut butter ones next!

The new flavor (changed) is only average. The old White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Flavor was excellent. Should have never changed the recipe. I opened a box today that was the old recipe and it was the best. New recipe has less sugar but there is a big difference in the taste. Please go back to the old recipe. Have people sample the 2 and ask for their opinions. Old recipe would get 5 stars easily!!!!!!! My younger son won't eat the new recipe bar either. He noticed the difference right away.
Salted Caramel and Iced Gingerbread were the best flavors Clif ever made. Sadly they seem to be discontinued. This is the best of what's left. However all bars are suffering from major quality control issues right now. Instead of being moist and delicious they are usually dry and crumbly now. :(
