Taste is decent for a protein bar and the texture isn’t gritty or crumbly at all. Each bar has 20g of protein which makes a great filling snack that is high protein. I wish there weren’t any sugar alcohols in these bars. The price point is a bit high but most protein bars aren’t cheap.

Absolutely Fire

I don't think I've ever left a review of anything before, but these are so ridiculously good. They taste like brownies--it's insane. Plus, it's been super hard for me to find tree nut free bars that aren't peanut butter flavored (it gets old) so these are awesome. Top tier protein bar; I wish they had a mini version.

Best Protein Bar Ever!!

I just had to try this flavor. Among the peanut butter and mint flavors… this is by far the best tasting. No artificial added sugars and twenty grams protein. I’ve replaced my dinner with this bar and some fruit for a healthier option. I highly recommend this brand!

Builder bars

Builder bars are amazing! I have three different flavors on auto order. For me there easily digestible. I use them during climbing days outside, during training days in the gym and for additional protein as an after workout supplement. Also for post run recovery.

Decent-tasting Chocolate flavored Protein Bars

I've been trying every brand of protein bar I can find in order to locate one that (a) tastes ok, (b) has enough protein to be worth the calories, and (c) doesn't zing my blood sugar through the roof. These protein bars seem to check all the boxes. I use them as meal substitutes because they are fairly high in calories, but they are high in protein too so it's a good trade-off. They don't make me sleepy like other protein bars do so even though their sugar is also on the high side they affect me less than the tapioca-based bars do. The chocolate flavor isn't what I'd call "delicious" but it is not offensive (which is more than I can say for some of the others out there). For Chocolate Lovers

I love the Builder's Protein Bars in general. The combination of high protein and lower glycemic index carbohydrates makes it a perfect meal for me. I eat one for breakfast every day. My normal go-to flavor is Vanilla Almond which is my favorite among the choices. Cinnamon Nut Swirl is a close 2nd. Recently, both of these were out-of-stock and I was forced to choose alternatives. I don't eat peanut flavors, so the options were Chocolate and Cookies N Cream. Both are really chocolate flavors and both are good, but neither holds a candle to the non-chocolate flavors above, which in my opinion aren't as dry in texture/taste. Good stuff

Finding the right mix of ingredients and nutrition is tough. For those of us who are athletes with health conditions it’s even more difficult. This product works for me. No matter if I’m cycling or backpacking it gets the job done without too much gut filling but with enough protein and carbs to keep my body running. The chocolate is delicious too with a super taste and texture. I highly recommend it.

Pretty tasty for a protein bar!

I honestly probably will not buy these very often because I would just eat them as a snack, they are pretty good! They are slightly dry/chalky which is typical for a protein bar so it didn't bother me at all. The bar is pretty big but not too heavy/filling which I like because I don't like to feel full right before or after working out. I also like the different layers inside because it adds a little bit of crunch to the chewy nature that most protein bars have and I thought the chocolate coating tasted good as well. Not super sugary or flavorful tasting, but still good and I would eat it again. Also love that it was gluten and dairy free!

What the heck?!

I have had a bunch of protein bars before and never had any issues. I heard about builders and wanted to try them since there isn't a ton of unnecessary ingredients. O boy, big mistake. I am writing this review, in my gym-on the toilet. I had the chocolate builders bar last night and felt the wrath twice already. I ran to the bathroom of my gym and literally fart-sprayed onto the toilet like I never have before. I am completely embarrassed and disgusted. I have NEVER had these issues even with their normal original CLIF line. I really suggest staying away from this one--not sure why my body is reacting the way it is with this horrible diarrhea.

it's a nice snack package.it's taste is not that good and its a nice supplement which has many benefits.the quality is averageI use it for workout, training and according to my fitness diet.it comes in a not that good serving size and taste!
