Fantastic stuff! Absolutely love it! It is buildable, non-sticky, non-oily and does not wear off during the day. The holy grail of foundation. The one thing I will say is that when initially applying it, it can look like the wrong shade and a little orange but once fully applied and blended, you suddenly have the perfect face. I initially applied some with the wand and thought oh dear it's the wrong colour but it was not. 2 weeks after returning from holiday my face, unlike my body, has returned to it's usual pale shade; I took a guess at the correct shade from the online page and that looks just as perfect so I have ordered and even paler one for future use. Added bonus is that you do not need a separate concealer either as this product can be used as both so it saves time, money and space. Oh and it covers the dark circles under my eyes, does not cake or slide and even seems to not accentuate the fine lines around my eyes.

Even Better could never replace Double Wear, but it is a good alternate, and its nice that it costs 12.00 less than Double Wear. Its lightweight and comfortable, easy to apply, and it lasts for a few hours without getting greasy. It doesnt set on its own, and Im not a fan of powder, so Ive been using a setting spray that helps mattify it. I think Im going to wind up using powder on my Tzone. Even Better, even with powder, still doesnt set to the level Im used to with Double Wear, but it doesnt seem to rub off on anyone or anything. I like that it has SPF 15 for an additional layer over my SPF 46 sunscreen.

It seems to meld very well into the skin, giving me a nice even glow. Its a satin finish rather than a matte one but I have combination skin with an oily T zone so I do set this foundation with a light powder. This product is very blendable and I can use either my fingers or a beauty blender to apply it and both work well, although I get the smoothest finish with a sponge. This foundation doesnt break up or separate over the course of the day and its easy to layer products like blush and concealer on top. This is the first Clinique product Ive purchased in many many years, mainly because I always associate the brand with teenagers not middle age gals like myself. But this foundation gives me a healthy look and doesnt make me look heavily made up. I also appreciate the fact that it has some SPF, even though its not much but every little bit helps, right. The purpose of this formula is to even skin tone and I would say that it definitely does that. Im not sure I have the right shade however. Ivory is a little light for me so I may have to exchange it for Neutral, which is a tad darker. But so far, Ive been able to use some bronzer all over and that has made the color look more realistic. I have a neutral skin tone and Ive found that its very hard to find a color match. I like the fact that this line has a wide shade range and that the colors are identified as pink, golden and neutral, which makes selecting the right color easier. I usually use Armani Luminous Silk foundation but didnt want to spend a small fortune if I didnt have to. I do like this foundation quite a bit but I would have to say that its not quite on par with Armani but its still great for light makeup days and it wears well. I do recommend it for combination skin. I only have to blot my T zone after 4 or 5 hours, which is really good thing since I usually have to add powder too but I dont have to with this foundation. If you havent checked out Clinique in a long time, you might want to give it a second look. It seems their formulas have greatly improved although their prices are still very reasonable.

I keep buying this make up because it's perfect for my skin- covers very well and has excellent coverage (make sure you get the right color for you since it is pretty opaque). People complimented me every where I went when I first started wearing it. The downside- The bottle leaves a lot to be desired. The cap is very messy - make up gets gooped up between the cap and the bottle. The applicator is touched to the skin every day and makes me wonder how sanitary it is. The make up is long lasting and opaque which is great, but get it on your clothes and it doesn't come out. Sadly, I do my make up in the car so the bottle is really a bummer for me. I am, was, a huge fan of the Perfectly Real Compact. While the feel and coverage is similar to Beyond Perfecting, the colors are not! PR in #106 was the absolute most perfect color for me ever. Sadly, Alabaster, the BP color suggested as a replacement and is wasting space in my bathroom, is quite pink. I wanted light to medium coverage, natural matte finish, long wearing on oily skin and sits nicely on the skin. This is full coverage, doesn't blend easily, sits on top of the skin except where it sinks into pores so you get the polka dot look and sinks into lines, in under 6 hours it is shiny and breaking down.
