THIS TONER HAS COMPLETELY DESTROYED MY SKIN! I received it in a holiday kit for a 3 step skincare ritual. The smell was extremely strong but I tried looking past it. At first it worked well. I was noticing improvement in the size and cleanliness of my pores within weeks. Fast forward 5 month later and it has destroyed my skin. It has completely irritated and dried out multiple areas. I have never had an issue with irritation on my face until I incorporated this product into my skincare routine. After researching and looking at the ingredient list alcohol is the 3rd ingredient listed. No thank you! I expected better from Clinique. I will be using cleaner products from now on.

No, I do not recommend that you buy this tool, because. the price is ten times higher! Buy salicylic and boric alcohol, add menthol extract, your favorite hydrolat and you get the same CLINIQUE ClarifyIng Lotion 2. Result: black dots, dirty pores remained in place. The effect is even less than from the usual pharmacy salicylic acid for 0.50 cents. But the skin became thinner and even drier. There is no gentle exfoliation. It's not an exfoliate, it's stupid menthol alcohol! Well, instead of the promised cleansing - the opposite effect, because. the skin begins to produce even more fat, which clogs in the pores and gives rise to those same black dots and subcutaneous tissue.

Clinique is one of my all time favorite brands! I’ve yet to try a product I doubt like! This luxurious skincare/makeup Brand is one of the best! The Jumbo Clarifying lotion is perfect for removing Makeup cleansing your skin after a long day! It has a light refreshing scent, removes makeup, dirt, oil impurities with ease! My skin is left clean, makeup free, hydrated glowing! This is a go to staple in my skincare routine! This product has quality ingredients which is why it’s on the pricier side, but very much worth it! I will always recommend Clinique Products to everyone!

Best Toner

As a teenager I was always sold the wrong toner- either a 3 or 4- just because of some hormonal acne and shiny T-zone. I would be more irritated and always had acne come back. The biggest mistake they make at clinique is sell you the set- just because you are combination does mean you can use the Dramatically Different yellow moisturizer for example and just becasue you have some shine does not mean you should got for a 3 or 4. Now at 40 I am a clear jelly lotion user and every other day I use the "Smart" day (and I love the "smart" night- it is instantly healing overnight to help remove acne scars beleive it or not). I have used some Clarifying 2 samples in my regiment- By the way I use the Mild Cleanser and I used to be a toner 3 and 4 customer. Go Figure!! Now that I know my acne is hormonal and I have changed to be more combination dry, I love this toner after Mild cleanser (and with the jelly and occasional smart day or energy city block for summer.) I created my own regimen which works for me. And this 1.0 has no alcohol! That was the main reason I bought it in the first place as I could not understand how 2 still burns me at combination skin! The dramatically different yellow moisturizers- even the gel- leave me clogged and greasy- go figure I am a 1.0 user who cannot use the yellow moisturizes. I think they need to stop selling the grouped regimens and look at what works for you!!

Huge help for Rosacea

I have been using Clinique products since I was 10 when my mother got me started on a skincare routine back in 2006 and have always kept a Clinique product in my routine. Since 06' specifically I have always used the clarifying lotion 2 (purple liquid) but back in May switched to 3; I have sensitive, non-acne prone skin with rosacea patches all over my face and neck. The product also has not dried out my sensitive skin - but I have always followed the clarifying lotion with a hydrating essence before any serums, a thick moisturizer, and sunscreen.

For a long time I was scared to incorporate an exfoliant into my routine, because I have VERY dry, flaky, and super sensitive skin. My skin has gotten to the point that it was screaming it needs help exfoliating. The Clinique consultant at Ulta recommended me this product, and with it being 50% off at the time I decided to give it a go. It's amazing! It's SUPER gentle, non-drying, and doesn't make my skin feel right afterwards at all. No burning whatsoever, it just feels like water honestly. My skin feels super soft after using and looks glowing. I should have bought both bottles! Highly recommend for all my super dry and sensitive skin girlies.
