I don’t know whom from Clinique HQ is responsible for its creation but they definitely deserve a raise!Even when you use a foundation brush there is no thick residue left on the brush, the brush feels like you actually only put moisturiser on it, even if you wipe your foundation brush on tissue NO product comes off! Even wrinkles are way way LESS PROMINENT!So easy to blend it to a flawless finish too, no streaks, no patching, no sitting in lines. It fees NOTHING LIKE FOUNDATION when on your skin. It’s absolutely amazing. Please just buy it instead of spending decades looking for a decent one when this gem is literally right in front of you.Well done Clinique for absolutely killing the game as always!

I initially tried to apply this with a sponge, then with brush, and both times I felt so cakey and heavy. I had more success applying with my fingers - I had more control and even with just a thin layer, I already had full coverage. Surprisingly the best results were with no primer, just sunscreen and some concealer for colour correction. I didn’t bother with concealer on my blemishes or under eyes cuz I felt this foundation did a good job of coverage. A spritz of setting spray and I was good for the entire day - I am really amazed when I finally got this to work for me! For oily skin it’s just amazing, it did wonders for oil control and didn’t sink into my pores or fine lines. Doesn’t transfer to my mask either. I wish I could get my money back.I was recommended this foundation at the Clinique counter and I regret not insisting on the 10-day sample the brand offers. Instead, after a colour match and test application, I bought the full-size bottle.Yes, the application is nice. Yes, the colour matches my skin perfectly.But you know what you don't notice until you've worn the foundation for an hour? It grabs onto every single flake of dry skin like you wouldn't believe. It looks horrible, absolutely unacceptable. I tried applying it over different moisturisers but to no avail.Do not buy this without testing it properly first, don't be like me!
This is the only foundation that keeps my VERY oily skin, shine free and matte ALL DAY. I have tried every foundation on the market and nothing has the staying power and finish like Clinique serum foundation. I use half a pump and blend into the skin using my fingers. The coverage and the finish is so beautiful. It makes my problematic skin look even and shine free- I adore this product. I did have an issue finding the right shade, and ended up buying two foundations to mix- this is still not enough for me to deduct a star in the rating though as I do not mind spending money on something that actually works! Hopefully they expand the shade range in the future. Thank you Clinique for giving me and my problematic skin confidence!

After seeing and hearing great things about this foundation, I ordered it online to try. I struggled to choose my shade, but settled on Linen CN08. I have very fair skin and felt this looked closet to my usual foundation which is Estée Lauder Double Wear in shade 1N0. But this foundation is so dark and quite orange! I'm shocked. The shade I selected is the forth or fifth lightest shade, and is recommended for very fair skin. It's pretty much unwearable for me. Maybe when I am wearing false tan or on holiday. But even then I think it'll be too dark. Very disappointed considering how expensive it was.
