I used this sample for about 3 weeks, both AM/PM, applying to my face and neck after applying my toner and serum. It is a thick cream, non-greasy in texture and it melts into the skin quickly. It felt soothing and lightweight on the skin, and my skin appears more plump and softer. I didn’t see much of a change in my fine lines/wrinkles in such a short time, but perhaps with continued use, I will see some improvement. I do like how hydrated my skin felt all day, and I do notice a smoother texture after using. I would recommend this moisturizer for dry skin types, if you are combination or oily, perhaps it is best to use a small amount as a spot treatment.

Once it soaks in, it just feels like your skin, but better. No actives, or acids - it’s peptide based. Great under makeup, and sunscreen. Absolutely no pilling. Most face creams *feel* like a nice face cream. And that’s okay. But clinical smart repair feels like your skin, just better! And the results build upon each other. My skin has definitely shown visible improvement in the short time I’ve been using the sample. Only thing I would of changed is a bigger sample LOL. I’m all in on this whole line!! I want the biggest jar Clinique carries, the serum, and eye cream next! Sometimes a multi-step skincare routine feels like luxury, other times, it can be a real chore! It's like when people leave horrible reviews on hair care products and claim that their hair started falling out from the root writhing days. no it didnt. it takes three months for a hair follicle to be released from your head so they are lying. that stuff drives me nuts. Alas, I have to leave a review so this is what I will say: I have very sensitive skin and I had no issues with this cream there's no fragrance and I had no eczema flare ups or hives or anything like that so right there that's a win I also really really enjoyed the texture of this cream it's not goopy it holds its shape if that makes sense? Finally, it absorbs really well and very quickly with no greasy film. Actually it leaves a sort of a smooth velvety finish. So yes I would recommend this product to a friend based on what it is NOT: stinky, skin reactive, greasy, messy and poor at skin absorption. Would I spend my own money buying this? actually yes I would and I own A LOT of skin care products but I have to say this velvety finish that it leaves (because I am literally putting it on right now) is kind of amazing. Are usually use this at night but I'm thinking this is a really good daytime under the make up moisturizer. it feels like I put on some high-quality primer under my make up so yeah I would purchase this!! Is this going to do anything for wrinkles? Yes of course it will because moisturizers help wrinkles look less prominent everybody knows that.

I do think this cream is more on the heavier side when It comes to absorption as it took a full 5 minutes to absorb. Eventhough it left my skin feeling nourished & hydrated it also left me with a greasy, shiny residue because it never did fully absorb. It was this reason I decided this cream is better suited as a once daily use part of my PM regimen. After a full week of use, overall I'm pleased with my results. My face felt moisturized, replenished, and my skin appears to look smoother. I havn't noticed any diminished fine lines or wrinkles. I believe those results would require more time & usage. I have always enjoyed Clinique products and I honestly think this Clinique Smart Clinical Repair Wrinkle Correcting Cream should be considered a night Cream. I recommend you conduct your own trial run and see if you get the same results I did. I knew after checking the ingredient list that it would likely cause issues for my skin (I have been diagnosed by a dermatologist with seborrheic dermatitis/massezia issues in addition to hormonal/cystic and regular acne), but still chose to patch test it on the same 2 spots/areas (on jawline, one near chin, one near ear) to see how it worked out. It does not have a strong scent/fragrance, thankfully, and has a decent, lightweight texture. I personally wouldn’t consider it very moisturizing or hydrating. Unfortunately it caused burning/tingling upon first application so I used a very small amount.
