Cloverdale Pure Honey Pail 1kg

This richly flavoured honey has been sourced from select international honeys and then expertly blended with delicious, delicate Australian honey. Enjoy it as a sweetener on cereals, in your favourite drinks or spread on toast. This pure honey will naturally crystallise over time. This has no effect on the honey other than to change its colour and texture. If crystallisation does occur, simply stand the bottle in hot water to clear.

Family Enjoyment. Our family eat a lot of honey and we usually purchase from the farm shop at Peninsula Pure Honey or have them deliver it. We usually buy single origin flavoured honey eg: Red Gum, Iron Bark etcThis Cloverdale honey was enjoyed by the whole family. It had a distinctive flavour but neither overly strong nor bitter. It had a pleasant after taste with sweet woody notes. It had a thinner consistency than the other honey brand we usually buy but this may have been due to the time of year that it was harvested and I do not think it was in any way diluted or aldulterated during production. This honey was used as an ingredient in meals, baking and eating off the spoon :)

Great honey. A pity for the 10% Australian ingredients. Thank you, Bunch, for such a generous limited release sample!Plenty of pots at my local Woolies$10 per 1 kgThe green label is quite pretty with all the flowers and the beehive. I was looking for an expiration date, but honey is know for its long preservation time (if stored correctly, it can last forever!) and that's probably why the only date appearing is when it was packed. On the cap. 1/3/23 in my caseThe honey is packed in Queensland, Australia, from at least 10% Australian ingredients. That is an issue I have with these Cloverdale products. It looks nice dense too. To open it, you need to remove the tab. Easy process. It tastes good! I find it always a nice experience to eat some honey directly from the spoon!I used my sample to make Halloumi with honey, lemon and thyme by @claudie13. The honey was just beautiful mixed with the other ingredients and the halloumi turned out amazing!I then decided to invent some mini cakes. With my daughter we called them - GF Mini almond "cardamhoney" cakes" - ("cardamhoney" because they contain cardamon and honey). They turned out pretty well, and the honey gave such a sweet taste and beautiful colour to them!(I am submitting the recipe later)In this difficult economic time, I understand that this product would look quite appealing to a lot of people. The taste is very good, and one kilo goes a long way! Personally I don't think I would buy it again though, as I'm happy with my 100% pure WA grown and produced honey I buy, and for now I have no reason to change that. And the price is very similar too. Thank you so much for my sample!

Yummy honey. I was very excited to receive this product as honey has become increasingly expensive. I was blown away by the fact that it was only $10 for the 1kg bucket, much more affordable than I was expecting. The runny consistency made it easier to spread on my peanut butter and honey toast and to pour into my honey carrots. If it wasn't for the fact that honey doesn't expire I may have been concerned about not getting through it all before expiration however with winter coming up this will be great to get the family through any sore throats etcI have marked it down 1 star due to it only being 10% Australian honey and no explanation of where the rest is sourced from.

Tastes nice. Tastes nice, but I always buy Australian honey. This was a blend of honey sourced from overseas and blended with Australian honey. It doesn't make sense why and there's no mention of the reason for this on Cloverdale's website (at the time of writing this message). There's no mention of which specific countries the batch of honey is blended from, and that's why I gave it a lower rating. I won't be getting this again.

Could Bee better. This honey has a nice mild flavour. However, it doesn't have the rich, aromatic taste of more expensive pure honeys and is a bit runny too, but for the price it is still good. It consists of about 90% imported honeys, and I wish there were more Australian ingredients. Fantastic value: the price for 1 kg pail is only $10!

Delicious and affordable. I have never heard of this brand before so probably would not have tried it if not for bunch. The honey tasted delicious and great consistency. I love adding it to my oats and fruits. Only concern was it says blended honey. Would be better if more info was provided on why and what is blended to increase the confidence that it infact is pure honey

Delicious Honey. I always have honey in the cupboard and was very pleased to receive this as it was a limited offer. I don’tknow how to judge one honey from another but I particularly liked the fact that this honey came in a pail. I don’tlike the ones that come in the squeezey bottles they are annoying especially when you get to the bottom. I lovethe taste and consistency of this honey but am surprised that most of it is sourced from other countries. (10% ofAustralian honey )I can never understand how it is cheaper to produce and transport products from elsewhere but it must be the reason, cheap labour probably. Great Blend of Honey at the best price! I was excited to try this honey, particularly as it reads that its blended with international honey. What a pleasant surprise, delighted to taste a perfect blend with rich dark texture. Smooth, fragrant, and no trace of sugar crystallization, at a throw away price. Worked magic with toast, oats... will definitely recommend and try again and again..

Delicious honey. I loved trying this product. The tub is a good size and the honey is the perfect consistency. It has not crystal used or become gluggy, it has remained smooth and runny in the tub. I even decanted some into a little squeeze bottle to use with tea and it flows well. The flavour is sweet and delicious.
