Absolutely great model every bit as good as Lego . Fun to assemble looks really good . Only tricky part is putting the window stickers on but I'm very happy just take your time I marked out window lines using masking tape . A great buy

A cool looking classic British airways Concorde building set for 14 year old and over by Cobi.5 stars for the look of plane and is over 20" long! Just a amazing build set for a girl or boy to construct, that took me to finish in 8 hours. The Concorde comes with landing gears that's fragile but it holds the plane up and the wheels move also. The nose cone doesn't go up and down, like the real Concorde, to bad.The passenger's window decals is a little hard to lineup on the plane before sticky-glue drys up.The instructions book could be confusing because the pictures of the bricks are not clearly shown to compare to the real parts of the Concorde's bricks.I had to count the circle on the bricks or the knobs that's sticking-up to know which correct bricks to use.You want ... MoreA cool looking classic British airways Concorde building set for 14 year old and over by Cobi.5 stars for the look of plane and is over 20" long! This was a present for my 8 year old son surviving my teaching for thee months. Well packaged and builds into a very convincing model of Concorde. Took us two days to build and was great dad son time. Careful with the stickers - they are very sticky and there is no guide to the order of application. With studying the picture for a while first to work out the order of the windows. We fitted the nose wheel backwards as well to prevent it collapsing when you move the aircraft. Apart from these niggles - absolutely perfect Cobi!!

Challenging enough for a 7 year old, faithfully recreates the design of Concorde, there's not much not to like. Haven't got to stickers yet but they're always fiddly. About 90% built as I write this and it's looking amazing. Just buy it.
What a delight to look at and build! Fantastic design with bricks and smooth finish, very impressed by the detail of the Concorde, and the easy to read instructions. Looking forward to buying and building many more Cobi aircraft. Only let down was that I dropped the sticker that had British Airways on it on the instruction booklet and the paper stuck to the sticker, so it’s an unfinished model now, otherwise would recommend anyone with an affinity for building blocks and aircraft should give this a thought to purchase and enjoy.
Spent a very pleasant 2 afternoons building this. I'm impressed with how it looks. Fitted easily and securely together. My only gripe is that it came with stickers. At 61 my hands and eyes aren't that great for applying them and have left a request for a replacement set as I made a mess of the job.Putting that aside I found the service top rate. Quick dispatch and even a hand written note from Neil. I think the Titanic will be my next purchase as I live in Belfast. 😊
-General-My comments here apply to most, if not all of Cobi's building sets. So far I've built several of Cobi's ship and plane sets, soon to be truck/tank sets, and they are easily the go-to brick-building company for both military and civilian vehicle sets. I've looked into some of the other brick builders like Oxford and inFUNity, and they just didn't seem as polished and well thought out as Cobi. The unique and effective catalogue of bricks they use make for cleverly designed and built sets, which are extremely satisfying to construct, if you're coming from Lego's standard set of bricks. It's real nice not having to go to niche custom set designers for some really solid renditions of all kinds of vehicles.Their building instructions are a bit different to that ... More-General-My comments here apply to most, if not all of Cobi's building sets. It's real nice not having to go to niche custom set designers for some really solid renditions of all kinds of vehicles.Their building instructions are a bit different to that of Lego's, which threw me for a loop at first, but I soon realized it's a better way of instructing. It makes it a bit clearer as to what bricks go where, especially with how similar some of their bricks can be. They also print a lot of the decals on the bricks, so no stickers!-Concord-Specific to this set, the Concord is a really stylish plane, and Cobi captured the wing sweep, engines, and British Airways livery quite well. They also managed to incorporate functioning landing gear and rudder, which is impressive for the scale. Unfortunately, this is a very sticker-heavy build. It takes an hour or so to complete the build.
This was my first Cobi model (Concord) and I must say the end result is really pleasing. Whilst the pieces do not seem to have the "precision" of Lego (small gaps, not always even surfaces) the design is very clever and the way the various curves are created is impressive. The biggest drawback, as most other people have said, are the pesky stickers. They are not numbered with no guide and so it really is trial and error working out where they fit and the problem with that is, by the time you have put them on, taken them off, swapped them around, they start to lose their stick and end up a bit dog-eared really spoiling the look of an otherwise great model. Just a suggestion but why do Cobi not number them like Lego or issue the product with TWO sets of stickers (one ... MoreThis was my first Cobi model (Concord) and I must say the end result is really pleasing. I was never lucky enough to travel on Concorde, but I was privileged to see it on one of its earliest public appearances in the late sixties at an air show, and to watch one doing ‘bumps and circuits’ at RAF Brize Norton in the late seventies, and have always thought that it the most beautiful and elegant civil airliner ever built, so when Cobi released a model it was a must have. It’s an interesting build that took a couple of hours. It goes together pretty easily, and produces a fine result. I’m particularly impressed with the way that Cobi have managed to recreate the compound sweep of that stunning delta wing. The wing profile is nicely done too, as are the Olympus engines. The wing profile is nicely done too, as are the Olympus engines. The strakes below the cockpit are a nice touch too.The only real downer is the fact that the markings are comprised of the dreaded stickers! Cobi seem to be attempting to eliminate these from their military aircraft, and this would have been a far better set had the markings been printed. The stickers on Concorde are particularly irritating because the sets of windows are very long making it hard to get them straight and in the correct place. I’ve ended up with a gap towards the tail between where the stickers end and the coloured blocks begin. The best advice I can give is when you start applying the stickers start from the tail end, and note that what look to be the longest strips are actually two shorter strips, which I didn’t realise, so I’ve ended up with things in slightly the wrong place. This is what has cost the fifth star.Superb service from Brick Tanks as always.
Delivery was prompt but the construction is awful. Nowhere near the standard of Lego. The pieces do not fit very well so all joins are very visible and therefore no smoothness to the finished article. Pieces were missing and we had to resort to using old reliable Lego pieces in order to be able to finish this off. This was bought for my grandson, who is Concorde mad, to construct and play with but as pieces fall off very easily playing is very restricted. Very disappointing.
