I've never played CodeName so it was absolutely confusing at first. But in the end we got it & i have to admit it is pretty hard bc I'm the biggest HP fan so my playmates don't always understand things. I'm just waiting until we can use the mission logs to add more twists

Fun game! There’s a bit to it so I’m not sure we would enjoy the regular version as much as we do the Harry Potter version. Plus the references you can make to the movies help it be a bit easier for those preteens. Not really a good game for younger kids. Definitely has been enjoyed by our Potter Head teens as well as the adults tho!

This version of Code Names is not the same as the others. It's an "everyone works together" game instead of a teams game.

I would argue that it's more fun than the original Codenames (if you're a Harry Potter fan, of course)! I love that there are varying difficulty levels to the game, and it's nice that you can play with two people.
So fun! It's a great spin on the traditional version of Codenames. Highly recommended for any Potterheads.
I bought this as a gift for my niece. We love all things Harry Potter and she can’t ever get enough. We are always looking for new games and this was perfect and on sale! Thanks BoxLunch!
I like this version for the obvious reason that its Harry Potter related but also because one can play this version with 2 players; original Codenames needs at least four.
This game is pretty darn fun! Thought it would be difficult if I didn’t get all the Harry Potter references but it was still quite enjoyable
If you love Codenames and Harry Potter, this game is perfect for you! I bought two - one for our monthly game nights that we host - the other was a white elephant gift. Whether you play one-on-one or on teams, y’all will have an amazing time!
This is a fantastic game that allows a new player to pick up the game very quickly as the instructions are simple. The game is a great 2-play co-op game, but is also suitable for more players (joining either of the 2 players). This version, however, requires on to be familiar with Harry Potter in order to be able to give clues that are appropriate for gameplay. My 11-year old greatly enjoys this game. It’s out turn-to game for something fun yet relaxing and straightforward.
