I went the battery power way via a very expensive recommended route liked them but they didn't last. We now have a matching set and the salt in particular works really well with its 3 adjustments. I don't use much salt but on corn on the cob the fine setting is great and works with popcorn too. Purchasing these online through Peter's of Kensington made it reasonable and cheaper than any other outlet around. And I don't work for either company!

I use this for pepper, not salt. I have found that this particular brand and model of grinder gives very good results and produces a lot of ground pepper. I have used one of these for years and only got a new one when I lost my old one after I moved. I have no reservations about recommending this to anyone

Cant recommend this company highly enough. I bought a Cole & Mason salt mill. Harts of Stur's price was cheaper than anyone else's, including the usual discount outlets. I figured the cost would be in dispatch time or product quality, but my item arrived within a couple of days, perfectly packaged. Will definitely buy from them again. Top dollar!
