Love this tent, I am a camping enthusiast and this is the best tent I have had so far even for a quarter of the price. Survived 50mm of very heavy rain fall plus m&m sized hale. It is very sturdy even in very fast winds, the space inside blew me away when I first hoped in it. Know problems with the fly It fits like a glove perfectly in place and tight, no problems with it pooling or droopy down and touching the inner even in heavy rain. I have never gotten bitten by a single mozzie or midge while inside. I love the awning and all the windows they are really handy. I currently set it up with one queen stretcher and air mattress and there is still plenty of room. 6 months in so far and it is still my favourite tent by far definitely recommend it, 6 out of 5 stars.

Used this on a recent trip to mt Beauty. Was very happy at the ease of setting up and packing down. Great design with the windows at either end to allow cross ventilation. Whilst I wasn’t on powered site, there’s a handy tab to allow a power cord into the tent. Handy pockets allows for easy storage of phone and keys. Small hook inside the ceiling allows for you to hang a torch lantern. A bright red tab on one corner allows you to correlate that with a bright red tab on the fly, so you always get the orientation right, very well thought out.

Seriously the easiest tent to pitch and pull down. It is literally a 5 minute job taking your time. It has enough space for our double bed air mattress with some spare room for your bags. In heavy rain it works great for one night, but wouldn’t recommend multiple nights in heavy rain as the fly does let some moisture through. That said, summer beach camping is awesome, as it has great ventilation and heat dispersion.

Very happy with the Swagger 3 person tent. Fits our Exped double self inflating mattress with spare room for clothing bags. Enough room to comfortably sit up and dress. Set up, including pegging fly and putting bedding in takes about ten minutes. One person can do the set up. Full pack up about the same. Packed tent fits nicely across the back seat. To protect the floor from stones, sticks, etc. I use a footprint made from shade mesh.
This is a fabulous tent. A tight fit over the frame but warranty section have noted it just in case something worse happens. The Swagger is easy to erect and take down. I love all the options for air circulation. Trialed a back yard camp out and held up well. I will post another review when I have camped out for afew days or in rain.Seriously, this is a great tent. Snowys is amazing with the video reviews they do and all the non jargon info they provide. Snowys is my go to shop for camping gear.
It dealt with heavy rain in Glen Helen (don’t stay here fyi it’s terrible unless you’re in a caravan) and saved us during a mouse plague in Ghan (avoid Erldunda, mice dropping on the roof from the awning and then not being able to get purchase did not make for a restful night, but we were mouse free indoors!) . It’s 2 minutes to set up - excluding pegging! We have camp set up in 20 minutes. We have heavy duty tarp below. It fits nicely under the car awning. Always wet inside of a morning (it’s really cold out, been below zero on this trip) with condensation. Great little set up. Bit messy in the photo, this is day 3 at this site.
I purchased this tent in March 2021 and my partner and I have been out for a couple of 4x4 touring trips in it, both to the Vic high country, using 6 nights in total. We bought this tent to replace a 3-man dome tent which we had used for years, as we wanted something that was quicker to set up and also larger internally, but something that was still a bit smaller to pack up than something like a double swag or oztent rv3.Positives: This tent is cheap, extremely easy and quick to set up and take down (the bag is slightly bigger than it needs to be so very easy to stuff everything back in when putting away) has generous amount of space internally, doesn't take up too much room when packaged away and has a cool nameNegatives: As mentioned in several other reviews, ... MoreI purchased this tent in March 2021 and my partner and I have been out for a couple of 4x4 touring trips in it, both to the Vic high country, using 6 nights in total. We bought this tent to replace a 3-man dome tent which we had used for years, as we wanted something that was quicker to set up and also larger internally, but something that was still a bit smaller to pack up than something like a double swag or oztent rv3.Positives: This tent is cheap, extremely easy and quick to set up and take down (the bag is slightly bigger than it needs to be so very easy to stuff everything back in when putting away) has generous amount of space internally, doesn't take up too much room when packaged away and has a cool nameNegatives: As mentioned in several other reviews, this tent is not sufficiently waterproof for any places where it is going to be dewy, or any rain at all. The fly touches the internal canvas along the top horizontal length and water easily leeches through, every night this has happened and then one night where it did rain every inch of the interior canvas was wet to touch and the roof was dripping. This was even with all guy ropes out. You get soaked each time you open the external door when the fly is wet (which is every morning)This is a good concept for a tent, perhaps Coleman could look at doing a slight redesign to improve the separation of the fly to the interior, I think a tent peg in the centre of the rear may assist in this separation. A version with a heavier canvas may also be worthwhile exploring. This tent is great for throwing up for the kids for the night in the back yard, camping a quick overnight-er or a festival or something. This tent is poor for camping when there is likely to be condensation or rain.I have ranked this product 2 stars as 'disappointing' as it was purchased to be a touring tent (as the advertising on the bag states) however you need to cover it with an awning every night to assist with water proofing (even then the canvas is super wet to touch).
I was initially very happy with the tent. Did a week of camping in far east Gippsland, the tent was comfortable for myself and my son, it had a good bit of headroom with good airflow when we opened all the windows. We weren’t dying when we woke up in the heat. Last night however, we camped in some very light rain yet still managed to get quite a large puddle of water. My mattress and sleeping bag were soaked, and it wasn’t even a heavy downpour. I wondered if this was normal, when I went back and read the product description it boasted that its “weathertec system keeps the tent dry from the harshest of conditions . . .” The conditions were not at all harsh, but waking up in a puddle was certainly far from pleasant and not what I would have expected. I bought this to use for solo/couple camping after reading the reviews and I was definitely not disappointed! I tried it in the backyard first to test it and I found it was very easy to set up, before I took it for 4-days of beach camping at Kinkuna. It worked a charm; plenty of options for ventilation, good quality zips and fly and light enough to carry around. There was only a small amount of condensation one night before I realised the rear vent and windows were closed, but no problems when they were opened slightly, even with an outside temperature of 7 degrees. There was substantial wind on one of the days, and even with the awning up it didn't seem phased (upgraded pegs/sand pegs are invaluable). All in all it's a very capable little tent!
Used this tent on three occasions on the third occasion the small struts that arc out on the tent roof to give it shape broke. Unfortunately this happened a few days ago and the tent was bought in October last year so 13 months and therefore just outside warranty. I'm sad and surprised at this experience as I have a generally favourable view of Coleman products. In fact I am a regular buyer of camping products from Snowys and a big fan of the Companion Pro Hiker 2p tent. Any advice on next steps Snowys?
