We have not had a chance to check its watertightness but I have no reason to assume it is not. It seems well made, is very easy to erect, even to a novice like me. What is more I could actually get it back into its bag! It looks good, is certainly dark in the bedroom even on a bright sunny day although it could possibly benefit from a little more ventilation for really warm nights, but how many of those do we actually get? The kids love it and that is good enough for me.

Purchased from Charlie's to use when volunteering at festivals the Kobuk Valley 4+ has been brilliant. Pretty straightforward to pitch even for one person. Superbly waterproof. It was pitched at Standon Calling Festival which was washed out on the Sunday night but the Kobuk V4+ didn't leak a single drop. The blackout sleeping area is truly blackout. Looks great. Very spacious for two persons plus loads of gear. Tent came in record time from Charlie's. A great service as always.

Hi, this is the best tent I have ever bought. Pitch black inside set for a good sleep at night, keeps the heat in too. Easy to set up literally takes myself around ten minutes from opening the bag to completely set up, I would not hesitate to buy another
Very happy with this tent, blackout is very good but light comes in through the front porch area. Our arrived with 3 small holes in the slide & back panel which I didnt complain about as we wanted to use it (duck tape fixed it!) All in all happy with the product.
Would be better if it was flysheet up first and also if the blackout sections of the inner and outer overlapped. The blackout is about 90% effective. Interior space best for two people rather than four. Four would be a tight squeeze.
Roomy, water proof yet breathable. No condensation build up inside and the dark room part is fairly decent. It isn't fully dark in there but at night it blocks out lamps and fire light etc. Good build quality and after testing it in the rain and also burning hot sun I can say it is the best tent I have ever owned
Tent was light enough to carry (6.5kg?) with a backpack to a festival. Managed to put up ok but needed help as it was dark & I was drunk. Very dark inside, excellent for sleeping but would recommend bringing a light for daytime too. Stayed dry during a week's camping despite rain & no condensation. Can almost stand up inside, double mattress fitted with extra space at the side. Would sleep 3 with plenty room or 4 if no mattress. Porch area stayed dry too, very spacious. My first tent, glad I read reviews, very pleased with it.
