The colgate advanced whitening is pretty average. It is good but not great. It doesn't go that extra mile to really whiten teeth, especially when it has the words "Advanced whitening". I recently watched a documentary on teeth and teeth whitening. Over the counter products simply don't have strong enough ingredients to visibly whiten teeth. Only visiting the dentist can do that. While I didn't actually see any changes to colouring, this toothpaste does the job to clean the teeth and freshen the breath. I drink tea, coffee and wine and it can all stain the teeth so I'm always looking for ways to keep my pearlies white. I've tried this toothpaste and others from the brand.This toothpaste is a sweet minty taste gooey paste and I need a pea sized amount to brush my teeth. I brush with this tooth paste morning and night and it leaves my mouth feeling fresh and clean. Having used the entire tube of toothpaste I can say that it doesn't noticeably whiten teeth but works great as a regular toothpaste.The tube is squeezy and the paste easy to dispense. Overall just a good toothpaste from a trusted brand.
I find this to be a good toothpaste, but it's nothing extraordinary. I have been using it for a few weeks now and I like that it leaves my teeth feeling really nice and clean and fresh - full points for that. However, like many of the Colgate whitening toothpastes I've tried, I find that I don't really see a noticeable difference in the shade of my teeth.I recommend this for a good clean but don't raise your expectations too high if you're looking for a whiter smile.
This is my toothpaste of choice. It is strong and minty, so it you don't like your toothpastes strong then this is probably not the product for you.I like how much it foams up, might be an illusion but it really makes me feel like I am getting a deep clean and that my whole mouth is covered.The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 would have to be the fact that compared to other stronger whitening toothpastes it is not as effective. It is a much lower price point then these competing products, but it is advertised as advanced whitening, but not sure it lives up to this claim.
I regularly use this toothpaste as well as the "tartar control" (gold) version of this and they are both my favourite toothpastes. My husband says this one does not taste as nice but if anything I prefer it.I like the idea of "micro crystals" to help clean any built up stains on my teeth, sort of like baking soda. I am a coffee drinker and this toothpaste helps keep the stains under control.The bigger tubes are also practical, they fit perfectly into our toothbrush cup/holder and are easy to use. They also almost always have specials on this toothpaste so you get dollar savings as well quite regularly!!

Colgate are one of the most reliable toothpaste brands there are, and this toothpaste is a favourite of mine. It's non-abrasive and doesn't leave my teeth feeling overly sensitive but does give my whole mouth a very clean feeling for the whole day.As for whitening though I don't feel like this particular one does anymore than regular Colgate toothpastes. Although I don't have greatly stained teeth I do drink a lot of coffee and the whitening effect after using this toothpaste for over a month is minimal, if anything. Perhaps more for the maintenance of whitening procedures it would work better but for the sole purpose of whitening you're probably better off with one of the pro whitening toothpastes.
