The Colgate Optic White electric toothbrush comes in a sleek and simple black design, comes with aaa batteries. Before turning on the brush seems light weight but sturdy and comfortable to hold. When powered on the first or sensitive mode is still quite powerful, there is a lot of vibration and this can resonate through your teeth and gums, which would be uncomfortable if you really do have sensitive teeth or gums. In regular mode it’s very powerful and you feel the vibrations through your teeth which can be a little uncomfortable even if you are used to an electric toothbrush. The small white heads oscillate but the other bristles just vibrate. It’d be great if there was more movement of other brush components to really reach the hard to reach places. This tooth brush is easy to use, light weight and effective in brushing. The whole mouth feels clean after brushing the cheek cleaning function is excellent. I prefer this to my electric tooth brush and will switch permanently.

Overall the product looks great, and feels great. While it vibrates, you still need to manually brush your teeth which is okay but I think I expected more of an electric toothbrush feeling. I really enjoy the fact you can replace the heads, that it has the whitening feature and the tongue cleaner on the back.

This is a good portable toothbrush - it’s not as intense as a traditional electric toothbrush but as good at cleaning as my old toothbrush.The size is great. I don’t like that it’s black as toothpaste residue is very obvious but that’s not a deal breaker

Funnily enough the toothbrush I was using before this one is also an electronic Colgate toothbrush which I love. More than my traditional electric toothbrush. This new Colgate one is great too.Love that it comes with batteries. It’s easy to use and seems really well sealed that water and mold can’t get in. As in the past that’s happened with the bottom, and battery compartment of electric toothbrushes.The two speeds are great. I only just realised the second speed recently.Cleans my teeth well. It’s comfortable to use. Not too hard or too soft. The bristles are great. I love love love tongue/mouth cleaner on the back of the head. My other Colgate toothbrush has that too. That’s one thing other brands don’t have. I really like this toothbrush, it has left my teeth feeling super clean after. While I don't find the vibrating quite as effective as a rotating electric toothbrush, I still found this a great option.
Honestly, I’m not impressed with the electric feature. It doesn’t spin or move to effectively brush the teeth. It just vibrates and it doesn’t add any benefits.
The brush has a good grip, the charging holds for good duration. The bristles are soft and do not scrape the gums. At the same time, the automatic vibration of the brush helps clean teeth thoroughly.
I have owned a few different kinds of sonic and oscillating toothbrush models from different brands and believe this specific one to be quite average in its ability to do more than a manual toothbrush. I'd recommend to either purchase a Colgate Rechargeable Toothbrush OR and Oral B Rechargeable one (which i am using now and find best).
