This happens to be my second tube as it is a no brainer at such a price. Affordability aside this works well to remove the daily grime off your teeth. The product foams up well so a pea sized amount is enough for each brushing session. It is an over the counter whitening toothpaste for every use so whitening property of this one is comparable to the Golgate original total toothpaste. But it is a big tube and will last you a good couple of month, (if you’re not sharing the tube (which you shouldn’t!!)).

I have used Colgate my whole life and trust the brand completely. The taste of the Total whitening toothpaste was fresh but mild (not like some whitening toothpastes that have a chemical taste). The reason for the 4 stars is that I didn't notice any whitening of the teeth. I've used the Advanced Whitening Colgate toothpaste with the gold coloured tube and that worked wonderfully. I even had a colleague ask if I had had my teeth whitened! I would use again because I think it's healthy to have the total protection with regards to strengthening teeth and protecting from plaque. For whitening purposes only I think the gold coloured advanced whitening is more effective.

I used Colgate Total 12 morning and night with my electric toothbrush.The toothpaste had a pleasant minty flavour which is unusual for an ‘advanced whitening’ toothpaste. The colour of toothpaste was a blue transparent colour like normal toothpaste.Generally from my past experience, toothpastes that have whitening effects have a grainy, thick texture and are white in colour. The taste of other brands have an unpleasant aftertaste, too.After approximately 2 weeks of use I noticed a subtle difference to the colour of my teeth, especially my front teeth. They were slightly less yellow.
I use Colgate Total on regular basis and advance whitening did not feel much different. Good toothpaste but so are the other Colgate total variants. I did have others in my household picking it up because it said whitening.

After trying the toothpaste, for the first time, I had noticed less staining on my teeth, as well as making and keeping my breath quite fresh for a good time. As I am a heavy smoker, I can have great amount of staining. I have now used Colgate Total Advanced Whiting toothpaste for about a week, and have seen a really big difference. My partner has been using it as well, she is not a smoker, but does drink a lot tea and cola and has notice whiter teeth, her self. I would definitely recommend to individuals as well as whole families, who are after all round dental clean. I am planning on having Colgate Total Advanced Whiting toothpaste in my next shopping trolley.
I was overall really happy with the quality of this product. The taste / flavour was pleasantly minty without being overpowering or ‘spicy’. The tube is quite big and you feel you get value for money compared to other whitening toothpastes that can be quite small. I took a picture of my teeth on day one of using it night and day and I can honestly say I see an improvement in the whiteness of my teeth after 5 days. I also noticed that compared to using cheaper more generic branded toothpastes , my teeth felt fresh and clean for longer during the day , even after eating and drinking.
This toothpaste has significantly whitened my coffee stained teeth! They were yellow for so long; I had no idea. Then I found this, and it’s a game changer almost instantly!I like that my teeth feel cleaner after using it and I don't have to scrub my teeth to get that result. I also like that it has some whitening technology without being unduly harsh.Bottom line is Colgate is my go-to toothpaste. I never really buy anything else. I particularly love the whitening effect of this one because I drink quite a bit of tea and coffee. I really noticed my teeth looked less stained after about two and half weeks of using this. Is also gives you that great fresh breath we all desire and the obvious cavity protection. Winner for me. I will buy again.
This is now my go to toothpaste. Unfortunately I haven't noticed any whitening benefits at all, but I never have with any other whitening toothpastes that I've tried before this one, so my hopes were quite realistic. That said, it has a lovely fresh minty taste, and leaves my teeth feeling very clean. It comes out as a blue and white gel, and it doesn't leave my mouth feeling chalky like some other toothpastes can. Apart from the fact that I don't see my teeth being any whiter, I'm very happy with the product.
