This is such a good charcoal toothpaste without being such an intimidating black shade. Regular charcoal toothpastes turn the teeth black temporarily while brushing but this one does not. It’s a good mix of charcoal and the classic colgate toothpaste.

This is by far the best toothpaste I have ever used. I’ve gone consistently without any cavities for the last three years with using this product. It is not greedy which is great to prevent tooth erosion and it helps with my sensitive teeth as well without the extra cost associated with sensitive toothpaste

A Deeper Clean!

Firstly, I love that it looks more like normal toothpaste - white with just a light gray stripe. This is very important when you have kids as anything that looks a little different is obviously poison! It has a great taste too, similar to other varieties of Colegate with a lovely minty freshness. My teeth felt noticeably cleaner after using like it really did give them a deeper clean. The freshness is also long lasting. I would definitely buy in the future.

Fresh and clean feel

I would not believe it is a Charcoal Toothpaste when you first use it. The stripes are not very visible and you would think it was any toothpaste really. For the price I would be wanting what the package suggests. It does clean well and leaves a fresh and cleansed mouthfeel though. Fresher for longer

Colgate Total Charcoal Deep Clean has a nice fresh taste without being too strong (I dont like really strong minty flavours). It becomes quite foamy when brushing. I used a standard toothbrush with this product and after brushing my teeth felt really clean. I quite often feel I need to brush in the middle of the day just to freshen my mouth but didn't really need to after using this toothpaste. My teeth and mouth even felt quite clean when I woke up in the mornings. The packaging is quite attractive and the product itself is easy to use - the toothpaste is a nice consistency. I like it and would purchase it again.

It's a Winner

Colgate Total Charcoal Deep Clean toothpaste is fantastic. My child chose it one day to try and now we use it all the time. It does as it states and leaves your mouth feeling very clean, breath fresh and teeth sparkling. Definitely one to try lovelies

Regularly buy and use Colgate Toothpaste and decided to give this Total Charcoal Deep Clean toothpaste a try. Well it has gone on my favourites list as my entire mouth seems to have benefited from its use. My teeth feel cleaner and fresher. Was a bit concerned about the charcoal factor but all I can say is it adds to the feel of my mouth. Great product Colgate!

Provides a refreshing, deep clean

I have used this as my regular toothpaste now for a few months and I’m please with it. This is an effective toothpaste that provides a fresh, deep clean and leaves my teeth looking brighter. It has a pleasant minty flavour and the added natural charcoal provides an extra clean feel without irritating my gums or teeth.

Same same but different

Personally, I liked it, my wife also tried it and hated it. So this could be potentially a polarizing product. I could see it having appeal for people who don't like that hot mint 'freshness' in many other toothpaste. I felt the cleaning was on par with other Colgate total so I would say there is no real advantage of this product over any other but for the taste and/or to break the monotony of your regular routine. I'm happy to recommend people give it a go for something different but it won't change your world!

Total mouth clean

I have quite enjoyed testing the Colgate Total Charcoal Deep Clean Toothpaste. It foams up really well while brushing (I use a manual toothbrush) and leaves me mouth feeling really clean. It has a pleasant fresh minty taste, but it’s not overpowering or too strong. I am not sure if the charcoal component is meant to have a whitening effect, but I am yet to notice any difference in that department though it has only been a week of use. My only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that I prefer natural toothpastes, but as far as not natural ones go, this is great. Overall I would recommend,
