For reference, I'm Caucasian with Type 3 A/B hair. I have fine hair, but a lot of it. My hair is fairly long right now. When it's wet, it combs out to about to right under the bottom of my bra strap. So- I'm not sure I understand why people like this so much and the overall popularity... The smell wasn't anything spectacular at all, mild, but not like anything I recognize. (Didn't smell like, citrus, clean, shea butter, coconut, or herbal like most hair products) It was just- a smell. I couldn't see that it was actually doing anything to my hair. I do NOT accept any crunch as my goal has always been for almost fairy tail tresses - Touch-ably soft and a healthy shine. I've tried many products that claim to protect hair from heat tools and prevent humidity from turning my flat-ironed (naturally messy-wavy) hair into a frizzy mess. Who wouldn't love to eliminate bad hair days? I have been pleased with Color Wow Dreamcoat Spray. It does a good job of protecting my hair from hot tools and my hair dries and styles more quickly and easily. My hair is shinier with an all around better texture using Wow, and I have found it's "humidity sealant" properties to be better than similar products. It has a very minimal scent, not pleasing but not repulsive either. This product is activated with heat, don't buy it if you air dry your hair. It is supposed to last through 3-4 shampoos, I haven't noticed that. Spritz a few sprays onto any given spot, or throughout hair. It goes on like water, smells like water and leaves your hair feeling like it did when you washed it... silky, but with added body. My hair is pretty thick, but gets frizzy in the Southern humidity of SC. Ugh! WOW not only eliminates that problem, but the frizzy area that comes from my crown (since menopause). I can then shape it and it will hold for 5 days, until I wash it again. I wear the crown section of my hair in a ponytail to sleep, or for an hour while I'm getting ready in the morning, sometimes just a quick spritz of WOW and it gives that little bit of height I like. I don't use any hairspray or other products. AMAZING Product! Highly recommend!!!
So I've used this product for about a month now and it's fabulous! My hair is naturally straight and somewhat fine - and can be super frizzy in this Florida humidity. I can air dry my hair after washing then apply a really generous, even coat, then blow dry. The silky feeling that it gives my hair - and the shine is just incredible. It really helps with the frizz too! I typically don't give reviews on hair products - good or bad, because truthfully, most products are just so-so and aren't worth the effort. Wow is an appropriate name for this product - because it actually does exactly what it says it does. I'm impressed and definitely recommend.

They aren't 100% frizz free but very close to it! And I didn't use any other product AND woke up to a rainy day, which always means intense humidity and frizz and I've had none of that! I do have my usual routine after washing my hair: leave in conditioner, gel, then oil; typically works, not bad! However, I wanted to try something new. I would either end up with stringy curls, or clumps that wouldn’t dry for hours, or it was dry and frizzy but generally on the whole about 60% of it was a mess and it was really starting to get me down. I cannot begin to tell you how much money I have spent on gels, creams sprays shampoos, conditioners, etc etc with some reasonable results but never achieving what I was hoping for. About 10 days ago I was getting so upset about looking like a mess most of the time I was seriously half thinking about just buzzing it all off, but in desperation ordered this as a last resort and I’m so glad I did! I cannot emphasise enough what it has managed to do for my hair that nothing else has managed. My curls dry in a reasonable time with diffusing and a bit of air drying after instead of spending hours with wet hair, but they dry with volume and an amazing soft yet defined curl that even just about survives having a hat on ( with a silk liner of course! ). I finally feel like I’ve got proper hair for the first time in my life!! I know it says use loads but I’ve found I only need about 6 sprays into my hands and smoothed through my collar bone length hair. It has minimal scent so that’s a massive bonus as well. I will add I think the conditioner I’m using at the min is also a factor as again it hits a perfect balance for me of putting moisture in but allowing it to dry properly without it trying to stay in clumps for hours. I hope this review helps somebody achieve the results they’ve been looking for!

I'm trying to be lower-maintenance with my hair and let it air dry more often, so I'm looking for one-and-done products that work well without a lot of fussing & intervention. This stuff really does feel/smell like nothing when it goes on (which makes it a little tricky to know if you've distributed it well). As it begins to dry, a cast does form and it can feel a little brittle/sticky/crispy while drying. Haven't tried it layered with anything else, and I tend to wash daily (or put my hair up), so not sure how well it does with a refresh on days 2, 3, 4.
