I struggle to find size 17 shoes for my boyfriend. He doesn't get many options, and I can't just walk into a store and buy his size. When I find his size anywhere, I don't hesitate to purchase. He loves the outdoors but has never had the proper footwear or gear to enjoy it to the fullest. Thank you Columbia for having size 17 available! I had another pair of Low Top Trail Shoes by Columbia and they were very comfortable and have lasted nearly 13 years and still have awesome treat and look really good. However, for some reason in my late 40's my foot grew lol and had to purchase a new pair.When I came across these, I couldn't resist especially them being even more comfortable thank the previous pair and even more grip on the tread. These are incredible and despte being so tough with the Grippy Tread they are just as comfortable as a pair of walking shoes or tennis shoes....You can't go wrong with this awesome pair of shoes!

My second pair of Columbia shoes. The first pair is a few years old and has been worn several days a week in many different locations. They are still good for daily wear but are no longer appropriate other than for around the house or at the shooting range. The new pair is slightly different as the old ones are no longer available for purchase. These fit and feel just as good as the old pair and are ready for being worn anywhere I go. You will not be disappointed.

I am completely pleased with my Columbia Crestwood hiking shoes. I ordered the shoes online, using the instructions on the website to determine my correct size. The shoes arrived just a few days after I placed the order. They fit perfectly and are quite comfortable. I have already taken several hikes in the Crestwood shoes, and they are just what I had hoped for.
The shoes are pretty comfortable when new. They have a very good tread pattern with lots of grip. The shoes do hold together for a long time - my first pair is 3 years old and is still in mostly usable shape. The biggest problems I have are that the factory insoles wear out sort of quick for a shoe in this price range, and the shoes get a bad cat urine smell after 6-8 months of use. A new pair of Dr Scholl's fixes the insole issue, and a can of "Fresh Fogger" keeps the stench down somewhat. I'm on my third pair of these shoes in 3 years, and like I said, the first pair is still wearable (but the wife won't let them in the house because of the stink).
I ordered 2 pair Columbia Shoes for my husband for Christmas, a brown and Black pair (for his union work). He has had the brown ones before and loved them but wore them out. I gave him the black pair early because he needed work shoes as a Union Rigger for Broadway shows and was called into work this holiday. He loved the black pair so much that I am jazzed to know he will have the brown pair too after Christmas to wear and enjoy. Thank you!
I have not worn Crestwood Hikers yet but they seem adequate in width and instep - top of foot. I wish they were all swede leather with no nylon fabric. I would pay more for a quality shoe made without synthetic materials. Good price for their function. I bought them to work in the garden. I will see if they keep out moisture. Let's see how they support my feet and their durability.
I purchased these about a month ago and was torn between these shoes and Merrill. The Merrill's felt a bit heavier and, since thought it would be nice to save a few bucks, went with these. Could not be happier. Runs true to size ( important to me as my left foot is slightly smaller than my right) and quick on and off. Able to cinch tight and really enjoy them. I do a long fast walk 5 days a week and generally am walking 1:30-1:40+ a day. Have not had to stop and retighten my left shoe at all which is a plus! Think this is a great shoe!
Excellent Purchase. I have size 15 feet and have tried OrthoFeet to relieve sore feet after doing yard work. The Orthofeet was a good product. However, I realized that I needed something more sturdy with more insole cushion. I was surprised to just find out that Columbia sold footwear. So, I ordered the Crestwood and as soon as I took one step in them I knew I had found the SOLUTION to my sore feet. I have since worn them all day while doing yard work and shopping, etc. NO MORE SORE FEET! Also the Crestwood is an attractive looking shoe. I am not a Hiker, but if I were, Crestwood would be my choice. PS. Excellent Customer Service also!.
Columbia has always provided quality products and I am never disappointed.I needed a new pair of hiking shoes and found this pair on line. This product is everything they said it was and much more. Fit, finish, size, and style are outstanding!! Best thing…when I put them on they hugged my feet comfortably and I didn’t have to “break them in”. I’ve already logged in two hikes, both were 6 miles total and these shoes were very comfortable and provided just the right amount of support. They did well through mud, rain, and snow!You will be very satisfied with this product.Thank you Columbia for your quality products!
