My disabled wife and I have bought these exact shoes 3 times each now. Excellent quality and durability, since I walk all day for work. We do get different inserts for our feet, but the rest of the shoes hold up well and last with heavy wear for 6 months or more. Highly recommended for the money.

After less than three months they developed holes because of a design flaw. When you bend them at the toe the harder toe guard will rub through the soft cloth. I contacted Columbia but they won't do anything until I mailed them back to them on my own dine or $26 worth of UPS dines. With the cost of shipping it wasn't worth the effort. I was still wearing them to work until one of my coworkers felt sorry for me and gave me a new pair of shoes.

My second pair of Columbia shoes. The first pair is a few years old and has been worn several days a week in many different locations. They are still good for daily wear but are no longer appropriate other than for around the house or at the shooting range. The new pair is slightly different as the old ones are no longer available for purchase. These fit and feel just as good as the old pair and are ready for being worn anywhere I go. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent price as usual through Academy for these. About the 3rd pair I have purchased in the last 7 years. I use them for work at a local utility. Always need something comfortable and with a stable footprint. These are the shoes. They give me a solid 18 months - 2 years.
Nice, comfortable show for walking, light hiking, and every day wear.In general every piece of Columbia clothing I've ever purchased seems to run a little small. This was no exception. I normally wear a 15W shoe. I bought 16W of these and they fit perfectly.
I bought this hiking shoe for my husband for his birthday. His old pair of hiking boots have seen their fair share of wear and tear. These hiking shoes seems very well made. He said they are very comfortable and are true to size. Bonus: They are waterproof! Great for those hikes through watery or mucky areas.
Got these for my dad for his birthday! He loves that the logo isn’t flashy. Went out for a hike yesterday and he found them to be very comfortable.
I do quite a bit of hiking with my dog in mountain terrain on trails. This shoe is worse than my regular tennis shoes. The first pair lasted around 20 miles and the sole started separating from one of the shoes. It was less than a month of ownership. Academy gave me another pair. This second pair lasted 50 miles and the sole separated from both shoes this time. I'm done with them. And the traction is nonexistent. I have fallen and slipped multiple times with these. They may do ok on gravel. So terrible!
These shoes are the only ones that fit my feet the best, as they are wider than the typical "D" shoes, but not too wide as the "E plus sizes. They are very durable and last years....I have several pairs in multiple color combinations. They are worth the money!
Nice shoes - but wide width is not wide enough. Will be returning item. Also, did not know about $10 return fee (will return in person, but won't order by mail again).
