I have owned this couch for under 6 months and am really disappointed by the quality. The frame is already shifting and creaks every time anyone sits on it. It honestly hasn’t been used that much with only two people in the house and we don’t have kids.I specifically got this couch as I loved the idea of having a slipcover which can be washed easily. The cover is made from a lovely, dense linen style fabric which is great for summer however some seams are already weakening and starting to split. With the cover retailing at $1,500 I am so upset.

Worst company to deal with. Your customer service is absolutely disgusting. No problem solving, no respect, don’t waste your time. The Como couch NEEDS instructions on how to fit the cover. The cover was cut DODGY and not straight lines. Would never purchase from you again and everyone reading this: DONT WASTE YOUR TIME

Fantastic sofa
22 August 2024

I have no idea what the other reviewer is saying. We've had this sofa for several years. The size and comfortability are great and the fact that you can wash the cover is a game changer when you have a dog or kids around. The deepness is perfect as well.

KEEP WRITING REVIEWS THAT KEEP GETTING DELETED

Wondering why all my reviews keep being confirmed as being posted but magically get deleted? Guess JL doesn’t actually want any honest reviews unless it is a lie review talking them up

NEEDS INSTRUCTIONS
23 January 2024

Fabric has been dodgy hand-cut with cuts clearly going off pattern. It is the most confusing and stupid, unfunctionable design to fit the cover to the couch. James Lane needs to step up and provide customers with instructions. Also get better customer service staff. HORRIBLE

So incredibly uncomfortable
6 November 2023

Hate it: I’m extremely disappointed with my lounge. It’s so hard and uncomfortable. It’s also rounded so you slide off. When I sit I can feel the springs. It looks nice but will eventually cause back problems like it did me. I now have it online to sell.

The worst lounge ever. DO NOT BUY
28 May 2024

We have had the Como linen sofa for 18 months and it is completely destroyed. The linen has worn away so badly the whole sofa underneath is exposed through all of the rips. The arm rests are wearing away too. It looks absolutely shocking. The lounge is sat on for a few hours a day by myself, my husband and our small baby. It has been washed twice. That's it.James Lane told me there was nothing they could do because in the fine print it states the material only lasts 2 years. They are taking advantage of people by selling this incredibly poor quality lounge.Do not buy this lounge unless you want to replace the linen every year.

Very poor quality
3 September 2024

Be cautious of a seemingly affordable couch. In just a few years, you might find yourself spending double the original price due to frequent cover replacements. The covers have developed holes within a short time, and despite raising these quality issues with the customer service team, I was essentially told it wasn’t their concern. Three covers in three years—save yourself the trouble and invest in something of higher quality!
