XPS was one of the main reasons for selecting this saw.Took the joy out of this purchase for me, and it will hack me off every time I use the saw in the future.Might sell it very soon, I hate buying things that cause buyer remorse.

This saw is well made and very powerful. The pencil line light is useless though. You can only see the line in a room without much light.

I don't know much about Mitre Saws but bought this for my son who is a carpenter, he is very happy with it, said it is brilliant.

Great saw, well put together with easy to use controls and precision cutting, as you’d expect.
So far I am very impressed with the saw, I would have complained about the built-in extraction until I realsised our hose was blocked.
This seems to be a great piece of kit. I looked at other saws and although this was slightly more expensive it is definitely worth the extra. It's not something that I would like to carry too far but it's weight adds to the quality of build. The cuts are accurate out of the box. The shadow light is amazing, much better than lasers that I have used before. The instructions need to be read, don't be put off by them. This saw can also be used for trench cuts...according to the instructions, by making an adjustment with one of the hex keys provided but I haven't tried that yet.
