Purchased this hose to enable a weedeater to attach to a 8.5kg gas bottle instead of the disposable bottle recommended by one of the major hardware chains. It connects well but the weedeater is still underpowered for my needs. Hose fine.
Glad I tested it before we went camping. The BOM end was manufactured slightly wrongly internally meaning gas wouldn’t flow through at any useful rate. Returned to snowys and bought the Coleman one instead. Wish I’d spent the extra $8 on the branded one to start with!
I have a Mr Buddy heater and the disposable cylinders are $10+ this allows a POL cyl to be used. It reduces the portability but substantially reduces the gas cost. Snowys were the cheapest around for this.
Must have if buying a gas heater, Easy to connect to a gas bottle then to heater for longer use.
Couldn’t beat Snowys anywhere in the net for price . POL hose is great for extended use of my Companion heater
Great adaption for the aquacube. A lot better than using propane cylinders.
