Ok, I ended up changing it out 4 times in 48 hours. Mostly because it was on a joint and kept falling out. I had to put regular bandages on top. The salicylic acid turned the wart and surrounding skin white. When I pulled it off at the 48 hour mark, the wart peeled off with the bandage and it was absolutely disgusting but the pain is gone. I don’t personally like the hole on my finger right now so I cleaned it with rubbing alcohol, put some Neosporin and a regular bandage. Hopefully the skin settle down but it works.

These are really convenient. Sadly, they don't work on my flat warts - not a lot of products do. Green clay does, but it takes diligence and is way less convenient - I use green clay paste, apply a large pea-sized amount and keep is in place and moist with an occlusive sticky film such as Tegaderm. Renewing ever 12 hours or so is a hassle, and it takes many days to work, but when the wart finally goes, the skin is healthy unlike with most OTC products or dermatological procedures. Alternating with similar applications of colloidal silver (over tiny cotton balls, help in place and kept moist by the same film) helps too. Compound W also triggers an allergy in my skin after a couple of days.

I've used these several times for the planters warts on my feet. They work great I think I don't use that for long enough that's why they come back. I believe the box recommends 12 weeks so I'm going to try that this time. The first couple of boxes I went through I couldn't get the pads to stay in place and I wasn't getting great results. I emailed customer service and I told them I couldn't get them to stay and they suggested I put a Band-Aid over it. I was skeptical but I tried it and it turns out it worked pretty good, and on top of that they sent me a manufacturer's coupon for a free box. So if you want these to work you gotta be consistent with the treatment for a long period of time, and make sure they stay in place and change them every 48 hours. 5 stars 🤩!!!

My daughter has plantar warts and for three months now, she is applying a liquid product given by her dermatologist. But it made the warts bigger. But when she tried the Compound W pads, with just 2 days of use, the warts diminished in size (30%). She loves them! It is so effective and she said “why did you not buy this one before. I had to suffer for 3 months with an ineffective product!” The quality of the pads (sticker) is also very good because it stays in place unlike other pads.
There is nothing better out there for the removal of a plantars wart. I've used these off an on for years but post pandemic they have become unavailable. I have tried the CVS Brand and though it says the ingredients are the same they are not. After 2 months of using CVS Brand with no relief, I sent searching on line and found these at iHerb! I bought 3 boxes because they are so hard to find. In about a week's time the plantar's wart is out!! As well, wearing these pads makes the issue painless due to padding. Not so with CVS Brand. Compound W is simply the best...They ave excellent adhesive - they stay where you put them, they are about the size of bandaid so comfortable on the bottom of the foot, and durable. They also have no scent.

I did not like the bandaid part so I cut around the round medicated part which is a small. I put that directly on the wart. I took a comfortable small regular bandaid and put that on over it. I sleep with them on. So they don’t move around while I’m up and walking around. In the morning I take them off. I repeat this every other day when I shower. I don’t shower every day. A few warts came back (not all) but it took a quarter of the time for them go away the second time. It’s supposed to be white-ish after pulling them off. They do dry out your wart area. i bought these patches about two weeks ago to treat a plantar wart on my foot. i gave my skin some breaks, so it took longer than i think it would’ve if i didn’t do that, but the wart is finally starting to peel away. when i used this product, at first the wart and the callous covering it got tougher and bigger. it turned white with a dark spot in the middle, and about the second week after wearing it the callous started to peel. that was about a week ago, and now around the wart is starting to crack. overall, i recommend this brand for plantar warts, but it does take a while since they are so stubborn, if you don’t want to wait- go to a dermatologist.
