Quality is so poor the cable has frayed they day after purchasing after only plugging and unplugging a USB cable twice. Will be returning for a refund or exchange shortly, but Officeworks really should stop selling this adaptor.

This cable fails to maintain a secure connection on a macbook pro. This flaw led to an external hard drive constantly being ejected improperly with the possible data loss that goes along with it. Potentially disastrous.

Used this cable to connect to a hub which has keyboard, mouse and two displayport monitors connected to it. The keyboard and mouse worked flawlessly, but the monitors did not. This cable does not have video output capability. For data transfer and keyboard/mouse only.

I have no idea why this has so many bad reviews. I bought it and it works fine. Tested on Windows PC and Mac Mini.
I bought this adaptor to connect a portable USB-3 hard disk to a MacBook Pro. Whenever it was connected, the computer was unable to connect to my Wi-Fi access point or a nearby Bluetooth device. Apparently, this is a common problem with cheap cables which have poor shielding. (Search the web for "Potential sources of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth interference".)I bought a 1st-party cable, which does not cause any interference, and returned the Comsol cable for a refund.
I am a full-time uni student and am always needing to print documents. Since the MacBook Air requires as an adapter to be able to use a USB, i bought this product 5 months ago. Disappointed and stressed knowing that after going all the way to the shops to buy it, ripping it open and attempting to use it, it simply does not work. I no longer have the receipt because I just assumed a simple piece of technology would be successful, so that is just great.
bought a while ago because my computer only has usb c ports. works amazingly for usbs except for when i try to connect a mouse. it does not work at all. i have tried many different types of mice and it never works. bought it for the pure purpose of being able to use a mouse.
