This device doesn't seem to handle multiple usb devices being connected at the same time. Of the four available usb ports, I am only using a mouse and a usb drive. Upon connecting the usb drive, the mouse stops working. It will move sporadically, but is unusable as a mouse. I wasn't even moving files from the thumb drive, it was just connected. When using one device, it seems fine. Haven't tried hdmi yet.

Unfortunately the USB ports on this are temperamental at best. I have another Comsol device which works brilliantly but this one simply fails most of the time. It's been too long since i purchased it for a refund so now will have to go and buy another device to replace it. I am using a Mac set up but the product is advertised to work with Mac

Sometimes works sometimes doesn't. if you want my advice, save up and buy an independently powered dock. it just depends how reliable you want your hardware to be.
