Awesome pants for the price

I've been wearing these pants for close to 7 years now at both of my jobs. I work as both a maintenance technician welder/fabricator and a firearms instructor and these pants fit the bill for both. The fit of these pants is just right. Not too baggy, not too tight. There's plenty of room to move around. The gusseted crotch is great for crouching and climbing over equipment. The fabric is fairly durable and hard wearing with double layers in the knees. The cargo pockets are a bit higher up on the thigh than most other tactical pants, which I think is a good thing. I also usually a pocket knife clipped in the back pocket, in jeans this puts the knife pretty much right on top of the sciatic nerve which gets uncomfortable while sitting. The pockets on the condor pants puts my knife right at the side seam.Belt loops are wide and accept up to a 1.75 inch belt. The elastic waist also makes for a more comfortable pant. The waist size measurement is with the elastic fully extended. I typically wear a 36 waist, but I order a 38 for a bit of extra movement. One thing I will knock these for is the fabric break in period. They're a little stiff for the first few washes, but soften up nicely after being broken in.

These pants are nice quality but the top, front pockets are useless if you need to get your hand into them. They’re good for carrying a knife and pen but that’s about it. I couldn’t get my hand into them because the opening is so small. Secondly, I couldn’t get the flu zipper to stay up. During the course of a day I had to realize the fly zipper several times. Lastly the return policy is only for tagged, unworn pants. There is no way you could know if you like the pants without wearing them to try them in a practical daily situation. Unfortunately I had to return the unworn pair and will donate the worn pair to a petite man.

I purchased these pants after looking long and hard for a replacement to my previously worn 5.11 Styke pants. As most know, the Styke pants by 5.11 are among the best, but unfortunately, highly marked up pants of their type in terms of cost. The Stealth Operator pants by Condor are, in my opinion, at least as good as, if not slightly better. Here's why I thinks so.The material is the same flexible fabric.More pockets, ones I actually use, and which don't interfere with the articulation of the knees. The pockets handle being loaded quite well, no chafing or tight spots. (Remember these are not BDU's) The pockets lay flat well when not used, such as when worn with drop leg attachments and over uniform style vests. The fabric has not thinned or pilled over time. ... MoreI purchased these pants after looking long and hard for a replacement to my previously worn 5.11 Styke pants. As most know, the Styke pants by 5.11 are among the best, but unfortunately, highly marked up pants of their type in terms of cost. The Stealth Operator pants by Condor are, in my opinion, at least as good as, if not slightly better. Color retention has been above average. In this regard I consider these pants superior to my old Strykes, which eventually wore out in the crotch and knees.I have not worn knee pads inserts with these, however knee pads worn over the pants do chafe in the area where the fabric is darted (side of articulated knee area). This is felt after several hours of repeated use however.Front hand pockets are very hard to access with duty belt on. Thigh pocket is difficult to access on my weapon side. My holster has a 2' drop.Overall, an excellent comfortable, flexible and durable pants. Excellent value.Best of luck.

Good Pair of Pants
5 November 2022

These fit pretty well, maybe a tad generous. They are a bit baggy but they’re tac pants not skinny jeans, just depends on what you’re going for and your tastes. I really dig the device pouch inside the cargo pocket, makes for a clean appearance. I can fit both my personal phone, my work phone, a knife, multi-tool, and inspection light in these no problem. I definitely recommend these.

Good pants

Decent pair of affordable tactical pants. They are a bit fitted and straight leg, and relatively true to size if you are used to wearing slim or straight pants. The leg opening is still pretty wide though. The fabric is very comfortable and has just the right amount of stretch. It feels durable yet not too heavy. Mine came with D rings which were not pictured and I do not care for. Doesn't seem like you can remove them without cutting them but there will still be a loop of fabric under the belt loops. The front and back pocket design is frankly what holds this pair of pants back. The front pockets are not side slash pockets, so it's very hard to reach into them while sitting down. I would have preferred the 5.11 style mag pockets at the 4 o'clock position or even just a knife pocket. The cargo pockets stay flat and are still roomy.

I recommend them. Nice sizing and fit. Nothing too loose like others.

Fit and look:They fit me well, I'd say true to size. The Condor Stealth Operator pants are looser than my 5.11 Apex pants. The Condor pants are just about ideal and slimmer than Vertx and especially all BDUs. I think they look pretty good but slightly slimmer would be fine as well.Pockets:The back pockets are so deep, when putting my wallet in my back pocket it sits under my hamstring rather than my butt cheek and is really uncomfortable. I assume it is to hold AR magazines but unfortunately I like to carry my wallet at all times and sit down at times. The front pockets and cargo pockets are fine.Fabric:The fabric feels crisp which I think is a stain resistant/WP coating. Not comfortable
20 January 2023

Pants are well made but are not comfortable. Pants are super stiff even after washing and fabric softener. Pockets are also very small. My hand will not fit in front pockets and if you put stuff in cargo pockets or front pockets it makes the pants so tight you cant squat down. What a Waste of money! Ill stick with my Duluth cargo dry on the fly pants.

I'm heavily into tactical trousers and as far as I'm concerned the Stealth Operator Pants is in the top percentileof tactical clothing. The blend of spandex, cotton and polyester materials makes for a great fitting and practical pair of trousers for use when negotiating tactical scenarios. Keep up the good work, you're making a difference in the world. Regards, Denis Berte' SFC Special Forces Retired

Very Comfortable
9 October 2024

The only issue I have with them is the sizing appears to run small. I ordered the 34, like every other uniform pants I own, they are a little tight but wearable. So you probably want to order one size up from your actual size. That is the only thing from keeping this a five star.

“Nice pants”

They fit well, though a little plumbers crack will happen if youre not wearing a belt. They slide as a result of the nylon material. Front and rear open pockets are somewhat “self sealing” which makes for easy to grab stuff but won’t just come out while sitting/ laying down (dont you just hate having to pick up stuff off the ground from your pockets after playing with the kids) the thigh pockets ride higher than other pants and don’t need that “side dip” to get into them. Very fond of the sides of the top flaps being stitched down to keep stuff inside. The velcro center patch adds security for those pockets (though, I might just cut the velcro squares off as the stitch down sides make them quite secure already). The velcro center patch adds security for those pockets (though, I might just cut the velcro squares off as the stitch down sides make them quite secure already). There is something with the articulated knees that snags if donning with boots already on (think tactical, friends) so boots/shoes gotta be off to put the pants on (quick change out is a no-go). Length of pant leg is nicely on the longer side to keep junk out the top of the boot. **a diff brand as “same measurment” looked like motherfractal floods/high waters. Love the 4 plastic d-rings on the 4 corners for keys and pocket knife leashes (though that pocket knife escapee problem has been zero due to the self sealing slash pockets).I bought tan and the stone green colors. The green is like a grey green, definately not an “OD” green which is the way i wanted it. Several compliments on a sharp looking pair of pants that dont scream “tacti-cool”. Plenty of pocket space while keeping a low profile. More like low drag hiking pants without the floppy/bulging /sloppy look. Hope this helps somebody!
