I bought this a few weeks back and after having done a fair bit with the coat i feel able to give a review. Right out of the box you get the idea that this thing is quality, it's got a good cut and line and the lining looks smooth in a patterned black with gold accents for the internal pockets. It's also light, breathable and comes with a garment cover, saving you a few bucks.Putting it on, you'll quickly find that it is longer than you might expect (For example, i am 6'3 and the coat comes down almost to my knees) and that there are three small buttons on the inside which directly correspond to the outer buttons. They serve an an anchor for the outer set and are connected so don't take them off. You will also likely find that it is quite comfortable, surprisingly ... MoreI bought this a few weeks back and after having done a fair bit with the coat i feel able to give a review. You will also likely find that it is quite comfortable, surprisingly warm (Wouldn't suggest use in temperatures over 20-25, find a lighter jacket for the autumnal weather) and works well with a wide variety of different clothes ranging from street casual to formal. Some tips for the first time wearer: Posture is important, if you slouch, this will look worse than it should. The coat can be dressed up or down depending on your situation, however, bearing in mind that while the coat is quite multi functional, there are some things that shouldn't be worn with it, an obvious example being shorts of any kind. Accessorization is also a factor, and can add a nice touch to the look. Lastly, Confidence helps nicely with the general line and flow of the garment, the better you feel about it, the cooler you look.

Hubby loves it. He claims it’s comfortable, warm but not stifling and not too heavy. It’s classy without being formal. Can be worn with jeans for a dressy casual look or dress pants for a more formal look. Very versatile and definitely worth way more than the hugely discounted price we paid.

I could not be happier with this coat. I have always wanted something of this style and finally stumbled across this and found the price to be extremely reasonable. The coat itself is simple, slick, and slim, whilst managing to be extremely comfortable. It is so easy to wear casually, or a bit more formally, but maybe that's because I'm too eager to wear it everywhere now!

Want that European / American style but can’t find the right coat for Brizzy weather? Look no further! This is the best coat I have ever owned for Brizzy winter weather. It’s stylish and gets you compliments all day long while keeping you warm on those cold mornings and evenings, and can easily be unbuttoned or taken off during the day when the temperature climbs into the 20’s. Very nice quality too. Made with proper wood and has great pockets.
Recently I bought a Charcoal Berkshire Coat. When I got it home, it turned out to be a size too small, if I had a more than a shirt on, so I tried to change it for a larger one but it turned out that a larger one wasn't available.I couldn't get a refund because I had taken the sales tag off and the only other coat option was a Camel colour which I didn't really want.I understand that this is not a review of the Berkshire Coat, I'm just pointing out that it's not what I really wanted and it'll probably hang in my wardrobe until I give it away to a charity.Overall it was a disappointing shopping experience.
The coat I purchased is perfect exactly what I wanted and needed. The service was exceptional. Having only one mirror outside the actually changing room was weird but it worked alright.
One of the best coats I have owned. The length is perfect! It's weighty fabric is very warm - so this is definitely for winter outside wear. The quality lining slides easily over most shirt and pullover fabrics. There is no mistaking that this is an essential item in a gentleman's ensemble. The only reason it doesn't get a full 5 stars is because the button stitching was loose and at risk of falling off. A bit of personal needlework fixed that issue, but it does indicate a bit of lax quality control by the manufacturer. I would also have preferred a larger collar that could be turned up to protect the neck against the wind. Other than those issues, I highly recommend the product.
Fits perfectly! Definitely buy a size up if you like the Matrix Revolutions vibe. Length of sleeves won’t always be proportionate to your measurement for tummy and chest so definitely go a size up for optimal comfort. However if you like a tight fit and you know your arms aren’t all that long in proportion to you body, buy the size you normally would as it will fit amazingly form fitting, you’ll feel cinched for the gods in this coat! One thing though, regardless of your body type, measure the circumference of the most full part of your torso and then add 5cm or 2 inches and go with the size that corresponds with that measurement. I bought this for my partner, we measured around his tummy as he’s quite the bear and added 5cm and when the coat arrived in the post, it ... MoreFits perfectly! I bought this for my partner, we measured around his tummy as he’s quite the bear and added 5cm and when the coat arrived in the post, it sat really comfortably on him and the coat fastened at the buttons without straining. He looks SO handsome in it. I would suggest the Steel colour if you are blonde and the beige if you’re brunette as the colour of the coat to your hair colour will really match any outfit once you start with a basic contrast such as this. Definitely buy it! HIGH quality manufacturing and very durable, I didn’t need to get it dry cleaned until after a month of wear, BUT, this was achieved by always hanging it up immediately after arriving home and keeping it in a room well ventilated with little to no exposure to water vapour from a hot shower or just the wetter atmosphere of a rainy day. Treat yourself, you won’t regret it!
The inner lining of this coat is unsurpassed. Comfort, fit and durability. The outer fabric feels so rich and warm as well as providing protection from the winter elements. The length and fit are as comfortable if not more than I would have hoped for and at the price, unbeatable.I am so satisfied buy this purchase that I have decided to go back again this week in search for other winter clothing.10 stars.
I bought this coat in other colours previously, and got this one because I found myself wearing them so often. The simple, timeless finish compliments a range of outfits, and the slight nature of the coat makes it easy to match other garments. Easy to wear with deep pockets, making for equal measures of comfort and style.
