Received this slow cooker as a gift and was very happy with it at first - made some great pulled pork. However, when I went to use it again, after only 3 times, discovered it was broken. Light was turning on, but it would not get hot. Very cheap design. Would not recommend buying.

My flatmate and I purchased this recently with no slow cooker experience. We alternate cooking with it and this thing goes great! It was easy to set up and even easier to use. We've cooked several delicious meals ranging from chicken drum sticks, to corned beef, to pork spare ribs! I'm baffled by all the terrible reviews, as our experience has been nothing but pleasant and delicious! Can't way to cook my next meal, I'm thinking Chili Con Carne - Yum!!!!

I just cooked a 1.6kg topside roast with enough veggies for 8 people in this slow cooker and it was done to well-done temperature in 6 hours on low. Not sure if the previous reviewer may have received a faulty unit, but this is a powerful slow cooker, and if anything may risk over rather than undercooking your food. I could not be happier with it.

I brought this slowcooker last month. I find that the low setting just boils away rapidly once the 5hr mark is reached. I think it must be faulty. It should only simmer not boil.
Used this 3 times on 3 different meals and all 3 times cooked on low as we were headed out. Come home to an over cooked dinner just 5hrs if turning it on !!!! Not happy!!!! Waste of money and have now got to organise dinner tonight as it cooked our dinner 4hours to early and has turned it mushy. Also it boils the food!
Not happy 1st time using this brand and the bowl cracked like an egg shell. All over the bowl. Have been using slow cookers for years never have i had this happen usually it dies but not the bowl. Cheap product probably cheaply made too. My dinner is ruined and now a busy mum of 4 has to throw money in the bin. Followed instructions.
Never seen such an inefficient cooker. 90% heat is radiated in the outer shell. Do not touch, burn. Even the label says so. Hot on the outside cool on the inside. What do you expect for $22.00. Cheap.
I got this slow cooker ages ago. Mine is still going strong. For the price I can't complain. The "low" setting is actually quite high so I do find that most of my meals if left to long are overcooked.
put everything in, turn it on, walk away, come back turn down to warm, when ready serve it up. Simplifying life is great. So easy to clean. Love it.
Burns your food in half the recommended cooking time, even on low with frequent stirring(which shouldn't be necessary at all). Dodgy rubber feet that fall off constantly. Something rattling around inside it aswell! Waste of time and money, not to mention the 2 ruined dinners!
