I loved having the clip built into the cap on their older bottles and I used it all the time. I hope they bring it back in the next version. Additionally, I wish they had more color options for this specific bottle. I'd love a purple, orange, or gray option along with the existing blue and pink.

I highly recommend this water bottle. It doesn’t spill, the lock section is very easy, it’s sleek and lightweight. This product has proven durable as I’ve dropped on the concrete multiple times and it has not cracked. This is the third one that I bought. I definitely will be buying them for Christmas presents as well.

We have kids in elementary school, and have tried all types of water bottles. This design is our favorite. Slender shape fits nicely in backpack pockets. Lid is easy to open, use, and clean.The one downfall is if it's dropped just the right way, and the lid is damaged, you cannot buy a replacement lid.I don't think having to buy a whole new water bottle is the correct answer to that, at $10 to $20 a pop.

Perfect for me as I chug my water and this lid has a simple, open hole form which to chug! Then it seals when lid is snapped down. Simple & makes cleaning the lid a breeze (compared to all the other Contigo lids thats trap bacteria due to nooks & crannies that require tiny brushed to scrub them. Been there, tired of that.) I drink 80 oz of water daily, to which I add fresh squeezed lemon juice to prevent kidney stones. The lemon also cleanses the liver & keeps gallbladder stones/sludge at bay, so sdd lemon to your daily water if u have any of these issues! (I've been kidney stone-free for 5 years since adding this daily routine to my life!) These are my favorites but the lids are prone to breaking and mold. I’ve owned many Contigo products in the past and the auto pop is my favorite! However, my first lid cracked and the bottle spilled everywhere. I bought a new one and my second lid also broke at the top and the warranty covered a new bottle. Now I’m on my third and the rubber piece in the lid is moldy. I tried everything to clean it myself with no luck. I wish the bottles had replacement lids because I feel like I’ve been wasting so much plastic. At this point a replacement rubber stopper would be nice too!
It's not fuss and a must for my kids to stay hydrated and also have many colors to choose from so each of my kids has their very own to distinguish. I love these water bottles so much. They are sturdy and light weight. I clip them unto my kids backpacks with the metal carabiner. My kids love them too. And you can fill them with ice for cold water. Easy to clean.
This is....maybe the best water bottle of all time. I LOVE it. Agreeing with other reviewers here - it's a fantastic lid design, it makes so much sense, it's incredibly easy to use and to clean (this makes such a difference!). I love the color - I got it in cucumber. My only complaint - I recently moved and left my water bottle (ugh!), and it's not sold anywhere! I originally got mine from Target, it's not sold there anymore (apparently?), and I can only find it in dragon fruit pink online. Hoping to be able to re-order!
This is a good bottle. It's easier to clean than other lids and holds a lot. Here are my only gripes... The bottom is too wide to fit into most car cup holders (didn't think of that). There is a little rubber gasket inside the lid that you can't take off or clean under and a smell will get stuck in there, no matter how hard you try to clean it. Lastly, The first time I used this, I had sunscreen on my hands and it permanently etched the plastic so my bottle always looks dirty (it also dissolved the words printed on it). Weird reaction with the plastic.
Today was my first time using this water bottle, and I accidentally dropped it on my kitchen floor. Yes, that was my mistake, but apparently that single impact was enough to break the switch that locks/unlocks the lid. Now the switch is loose in there, sometimes making the autopop stick and not work to *open* the lid, definitely making it impossible to lock it. If I could at least get the broken lock piece out, I could open it, but I definitely no longer have the ability to lock it. A single time hitting the ground from a couple feet up should not have destroyed a key function of the water bottle, my first time using it. I recently submitted an online form to customer service regarding this product. I stated how much I like this water bottle, but I needed to replace just a lid since my bottle fell out of my backpack while hiking and the button lock broke, however I was unable to just order a lid. Also, I suggested that the handle have a clip on it for backpacks or belt loops. Their response was to send me a new bottle for free! Wow, that was excellent customer service when I didn't even ask for a replacement! I will continue to use this product but will hope that will update it with a built in clip-on handle.
