This has to be one of my favorite water bottles. The vacuum-insulated technology that is has inside is truly great. It keeps my cold water cold for hours. I mean hours on end. I love that I can take it with me doing errands and I will always have cold water. Or will doing exercise when you need that extra sip of cold water you know that it's there, even with ice if you have added it too. I love these steel bottles because they keep my water ice cold. On a hot day, this bottle keeps my water fresh. I can’t stand room temperature so I always use my contigo bottle. Carrying it around encourages me to drink water throughout the day and it’s reusable so it’s environmentally friendly. Not to mention it’s a cheaper alternative to other water bottles, it does the same job!

Good design idea, but poor execution

I purchased several bottles of this type for the whole family (4 bottles) from Costco. However, after a short period of time 2 of them started to have problems. One had the inner spout insert cracked and part of it is now missing. It is leaking water as a result and almost unusable. Second has the inner spout insert cracked as well, but it is not yet breaking.In my opinion it is happening because of the design of this inner spout. It should have been designed with the outer plastic ring having less diameter, and allowing it to get inside of the bottle when insert is compressed against the O-ring. The outer plastic of the insert however can't withstand the resulting tightening force and cracks. Please, make the outer diameter of the plastic spout less. NEEDS REPLACEMENT PARTS

This has been one of the best water bottles I've ever had - does everything I want it too:- keeps water cold- easy to clean- lid is attached so you can't lose it- fits in all the holders I have (car, backpack, bike)- pretty tough (I've dropped it more than once - only a sight dent)BUT... you cannot get replacement parts - specifically for the removable spout. Mine started to crack and is broken (yes I dropped it, but I'm willing to pay to get a new spout I don't want or expect a freebie). Now the bottle leaks. I hate the thought of throwing out the whole bottle (so wasteful!) when all I need is one part. This review would have been 5 stars if the part were available for replacement.

New Favorite Water Bottle!

This water bottle is my new favorite water bottle! The water stays cold all day long and I never have to worry about it heating up even when it is left in the car throughout the day. The Blueberry Trans Satin color is also a great color for a water bottle. The only complaint I have is that if the water bottle is dropped the paint chips off very easily. The removable mouth piece is a wonderful addition because it allows for the ability to put ice in your drink. It also means that the drinking area is not too large so it is very comfortable to drink out of the water bottle. The strap that connects the bottle to the stainless steel cap is also a great feature. It keeps the cap connected so that it does not fall off and potentially get lost when it is unscrewed. The water bottle does exactly what it says , keeps liquid, cold for 24 hours or more and hot upto 10 hours.I tested it by filling it with cold water at my bed side at night and did drink some water during my sleep.I let it sit there for the next day. Again at the bedtime I opened it and had a sip of water and what I realized, the water was still cold, however not that much when I filled it first, but quite cold. Also I tested it for the hot beverage with my favorite green tea, which was still hot after 7 hours. It is also leak proof and has a very good satin finish, which makes it a premium water bottle. Sticker on the inside of the bottle

There was a sticker on the inside of my water bottle - that I couldn't properly see as it was stuck to the inside. There was no warning whatsoever about this sticker so I washed and started to use the bottle. In my first use I didnt have an issue but around my second and third use I started to feel chunks in my drink. During the wash after my third use, the stickers in the picture attached came off. Turns out, the chunks in my drink were pieces of the sticker. This is a major design flaw and I don't know why there was a sticker in the interior of the tumbler to begin with.

I'm not sure what this is, but there is a significant difference after a few hours.The idea is really there with this bottle, and I need it to work so bad. I hope Contigo is able to evolve this product in the very near future to make it work as amazing as it could.
