Unfortunately, the sneakers came in a larger size so I’m not going to be able to review the sizing all that much. I wear a women’s size 8 and these were a size 9. Full disclosure, I’m a long time Converse fan. Like a closet full of a full range of styles. So the All Star-1 Pro Ox was happily welcomed into the family.I LOVE these shoes. They are super comfy and felt good from day one out of the box. The color is gorgeous and deep, they go perfectly with my jeans.One thing I’ve learned with this type of material is that spraying it with a coating of stain protector helps to maintain its color and texture. So as soon as I got them that was the first thing I did. And after wearing them for a few weeks they have held up perfectly.

This is a beautiful shoe! Converse has outdone themselves. They stand out, are durable, and are made so sturdy. The fit is a tad snug in the widest part of the foot. They run slightly small because of this. The fabric is soft and so classy. I can tell these shoes will be a staple in my closet and will last a long time. The fabric wipes clean very easily and they can be dressed up or down! The only thing I would change is making the shoe a bit bigger so people with wider feet could also enjoy these shoes as well! Other than that, this is a great shoe that I will create memories in for a long time!

I recently got a new skateboard to cruise on and wanted some durable but stylish shoes to skate on. The Converse All Star Pro Ox in Red Suede filled the bill perfectly. The fit was great. I have wide feet and had no issues getting in there and being comfortable as I rolled around.I found the soles to be cushy but not overly soft. It was actually a good balance of cushion but providing a stable platform to kick and keep balance.From a style perspective the material is high quality and a beautiful deep burgundy color. They came w two sets of laces. I chose the white one. This is one thing that I think could be improved. The white laces seem to be of lesser quality than the red ones. So I was worried I wouldn't be able to pull off these shoes-- they are cool looking and I'm a mom trying to get two kids out the door in the morning, looking somewhat presentable. These shoes are PERFECT-- they fit like a glove, make your feet look quite cute and -- let me tell you -- you can totally pull them off in your mom leggings and baggy sweater. I was never a skater in high school or someone who typically wore these shoes, so I was worried I would look like a fraud. FALSE! They are comfy enough to run to the coffee shop/errands around town, but you can put on a pair of jeans and a nice top and you look like you are actually trying with these shoes (and you're comfy!)I would absolutely get these shoes again. Also the color -- LOVE the green. Goes with anything.
My son and I really like the everyday style of these shoes. My son instantly fell in love with them and he was excited that he could change the color of the laces. While he likes the way they feel as in he’s comfortable wearing them throughout the school day he did complain about the fit. He must have inherited my wide feet because he said that they’re tight on the sides. I knew exactly what he meant. It’s really hard to find shoes offered in a wide and it shouldn’t be necessary to go up multiple sizes to get a better fit around the toes. The design is very sleek and perfect for all genders. The outer material is suede which he likes the feel of but as a parent you know they don’t wear well in the rain. These are great shoes to wear out with a pair of jeans when you want to look a little more put together than in regular running sneakers.
