If I'm looking for something cheap, that'll look amazing with some shorts in the summer. I go for some cute low top chucks! Warning, their just for looks. So if your planning on you know walking for a bit, do not wear these! If your planning on a trip to like Disneyland, etc. Anywhere where your most likely going to be walking all day, these aren't the shoes for that. Trust me your feet will kill you, and you'll probably have a few blisters.

Big-time comfort and style!

I haven’t worn sneakers for years. I’m somewhat ashamed to admit that I’m a slave to fashion; however, I go for the total look when dressing. I work at a elementary school and am on my feet all day. My feet are getting older and are feeling the abuse after 26 years in my profession. Arthritis has become a reality. In the colder months I wear Dr. Marten boots, but with spring and summer here I need something lighter. I like a little bit of extra space for my toes. I have narrow feet, but as long as I tie them snugly, I don’t experience any slipping in the heel. Bottom line - I highly recommend these. Love the pale yellow color. Also purchased the black, and another style platforms in orange. Sweet!

Classic Platforms

I bought the shoes for my daughter’s birthday. She loves it. She usually wears a size 7, but reading the reviews it states that the shoes run a big big and recommend to get a half size smaller. I got her a size 6.5 and she said it was a perfect fit, however she said it was a bit snug on the width. Unfortunately they did not make this style in a wide width. My daughter is happy!

Comfortable but too big

First, converse has a great return policy and I really do love the shoes. I love the look and style. I love that they make me taller too. BUT I don’t like the fit. I am usually a 6.5-7. I tried the 6.5 and my heel slipped out the back. I downsized to a 6 and my heel still slips out. I can’t go any smaller or the shoe will be tight elsewhere. It’s frustrating. My feet are normal width but these just aren’t tight enough around the heel, even with a heel insert. I’m keeping them, but I know I can’t wear them for long walking adventures.

Death by shoe

These converse are terrible! It may just be my feet but my god I’m in agony any time I wear them. I can’t remember ever having this problem with any other converse, and I’ve had many. I sided down to 4.5 instead of 5 like everyone suggested, to be fair if I had got a 5 even if they fit better in width and my toes they would have fell off my heels, these size 4.5 are only held on if I tighten them at the top lace but I can’t tighten too much or my toes are crushed more. I’ve tried to wear them out but I dread it every time I do. I wear them if nothing else goes with what I’m wearing. They may look cute with dresses n stuff but I’m not feeling cute in the inside.

Personal opinion

These are true to size however I found being a size 7 they just looked really big! Like clown foot alert I had the platform ox I believe before hand that have a slight curve look where the sole meets the fabric and these looked a lot better but after several years defo had my ware out! I tried these just to buy something different but think I will now try to get something more similar to my last pair. Quality of the converse were fab just personal opinion I felt my feet looked gigantic haha

Review of Chuck Taylor Black Platform Converse

These shoes are extremely stylish and versatile. They match with every outfit wether it’s casual or fancy. They are amazing quality and last for ever. This is the second pair I have bought and my last pair were 5 years old. They are my favourite grab and go shoe every time I go out somewhere. They are also very comfortable once you break them in. But they are truly the best and my favourite shoe.

So comfortable and classic

I normally wear an 8 and I usually wear 8.5 in AF1s. I ordered these Chuck Taylor All Star Lift Platform Canvas in 8 knowing that it will be a bit bigger. I like my shoes about 1/2 size larger than my feet and these are perfect. They don't slip when I walk and they don't chafe. I have a painful bunion but I don't feel anything when I wear these all day. I walk everywhere in these and they have the right amount of flex where needed. I will order them in other colors.

True to size for me

After getting 2 different pairs, and returning them. I went into a Converse store and tried on 1/2 a size smaller as well as my regular size but my regular size fit perfect. I was going based off reviews stating they run in mens sizes which was what I originally ordered, then returned and got 1 whole size smaller based off reviews stating they run 1 whole size bigger and that what also too small. I found these to be true to size for me they do not run 1/2 size or a whole size bigger, and they definitely don’t run in mens sizes. These are women’s and true to size. They are very comfortable, they take me back to the 90’s. My regular size is a 6.5. I Ordered a 5 and a 5.5 and returned and in store I tried on a 6 and 6.5. I went with my regular size.

Walking on Cloud

Love the cushion feel, I stand 8 to 10 hours in front of computer’s daily. I had purchased Lift Platform for style. I have back and feet issues the cushion and extra thickness of sole have provided relief.Customer service is great! First pair I received Rubber came loose on canvas in one spot. Reported the issue sent required documents, received replacement in a few days.Converse is my everyday shoe, with all the style’s I have a pair for all occasions.
