I'm a UK 7.5 and bought a 7.5. I found the trainers were true to size and stylish, while the soles were very comfortable as advertised.I saw a few tiny markings when the trainers arrived - stray flecks of dye, black shoe paint, trainer glue or whatever. I could tell these were factory defects and not there because the trainers had been worn by other customers. They were slightly irritating to see but not worth a return!

Love my Run Star Hike Platform. I wear a 8 1/2 and they fit perfectly. I receive many compliments and they are not just stylish but comfortable as well. I love the look and feel of the high top as it gives great ankle support. I also like the platform. I noticed, however, that the bottom had a few areas that were not glued properly. I decided not to return it as the areas were small.

After the outsole part of my Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Lift Platform High Tops broke and basically fell off, I thought I would never buy Converse again, but my parents convinced me to give these a try because they seemed to be a lot sturdier, and they really are. These have lasted me a while now, and I find them to be really comfortable. I feel like I could walk miles with these and not feel tired. It’s like walking on air. They’re very comfortable, and if you don’t like feeling short, I recommend them 100%. Although if you ever plan on making someone who’s wearing these mad, be prepared to be hurt because, ouch getting kicked with these hurts quite a lot. Go with recommended sizing, for sure. My classic converse are an 8, so I ordered the recommended 8.5 and they fit perfectly. These are immediately comfortable, no break in required. I love the life I get from the platform, and the look is still classic converse with modern chunky twist. Can dress up or down. I get compliments a lot. Might order some other colors... Love them!
As I got older, I found it hard to wear converse because the front after a days work, My toes and ball of my foot would hurt really bad. Well, they’ve come along way because these are the most comfortable shoes and I’ve been wearing them all day and I’m on my feet And my feet are not sore and I got lots of compliments on how cute they are and also they give me some height cuz I’m kind of short so overall I give these is A ++++++Love them highly recommend these !! I also custom made a pair. I had bought the white and I custom-made black leather with some brown and can’t wait to get them. Oh, and I did have to size down a half a size as per usual with converse. And they fit perfect.
You can add these with so many different fits for that city/casual vibe. If you have a wide foot, stay with your size. I have a slim foot and I wear a size 6.5 women's and I always size down to a six in Converse. The footbed of these kicks are very cushiony and very comfortable. I can walk in these all day without a problem. They are also very stable. I'm in love with the style of these and I'm buying more colors.I have lots of sneakers but I think these may be my "it" kicks.
I got these, for myself, in honor of my eldest that passed away. She wore Chucks as a little one and loved her high tops in all the funky patterns and colors. These are so relevant with their updated style. And since I suffer from plantar fasciitis, the cushion is amazing in this shoe. Not to wear when I run, or workout, but okay to wear for a day. They look great with dresses or denim. I have yet to find an outfit these don't work seamlessly with. I know my daughter is looking down on me and cracking up that I got these. (And the tread has incredible grip!) Truly a great update to a timeless classic. Thanks, Converse!
Being 5’1 I have quite a few platform styles of shoes in my closet. 🙂 Purchased the first pair in red and then went back for a custom design (which is such a great option btw). Not only is this style highly fashionable, they are extremely comfortable. The footbed is really soft and the overall shoe isn’t heavy at all. I’ve received so many compliments on them each and every time I wear them. If you’re on the fence about them, don’t be. I’m 54 years young and plan to get more colors. Go ahead and purchase them, you’ll be glad you did!
Very comfy. I have A wide foot. Like even most wide width shows don’t fit me and these have done well the two times I’ve worn them so far. I got a 9.5 and it feels like I could have just got a 9 perhaps. But I’m afraid to send them back and get the 9 because I’m not sure. I’d prob buy another color in the Sz 9. Very comfortable cushion on the bottom. The laces seem a bit short…I laced mine to the top and left enough width to accommodate my wider foot so that may be why. But I really Like the them. The high top does rub against the back of my foot a bit. I wonder If that would be an issue with prolonged wear, but I think they make products to help with that sort of thing. Or can try a bandaid. But yea. Love the color and and comfort as a mom in her 30s (:

Seriously, you can wear these to everything from casual to formal events and it works. I got these over a year ago and they're still in great condition, one eyelet has since fallen out but I wear them almost every day so I'm not upset.Why I took a star off: It is mainly because there is NO TAB to hold the laces in place on the tongue??? I don't know if this is something converse does on all it's special styles but it's incredibly inconvenient.
