Had to get them in 11.5 instead of 12 since they run half size bigger. Their amazing shoes and would love to get another pair. The only problem I have with them is that they untie easily and the laces that run through the first few eyelets become very tight after retying the shoe. The shoe also tends to be up in the front which can look awkward at times. Other than that, great shoes

I took the recommendation from Converse to go down by half a size, so I ordered a 7 instead of 7.5 and they were far too small. I’m addition to the sizing being off, these just looked cheap. I was so disappointed. The toe box looked off, like it was too small. The rubber on the side was really shiny and plastic looking and just looked cheap. Will not be keeping or exchanging for another size.

Closest to the original chucks I wore as a kid. Right down to the place for name inside tongue , classic! I would recommend going the half size up from your size in regular all stars. Super comfortable with new insole and very sturdy design.

I’ve been wearing Size 7 All Stars for decades and these Chuck 70’s fit me perfectly in a size 7 for anyone wondering if there is a fit difference between them. I have wide feet, double E (EE) in boots and these fit me well like the All stars did, not too narrow. The Chuck 70’s are much better comfort wise than the Allstars in my opinion with the comfort soles (Which Are Replaceable!) and the overall sturdier build of the shoe, you can actually feel the difference in the thicker canvas and the rubber soles. I really like the narrower look that the high sidewall and the set back toe cap outline give the shoe. The rubber has a very glossy finish that’s not as distracting as I thought it might be. I purchased the Universe Teal and Tawny Owl versions and both are nice ... MoreI’ve been wearing Size 7 All Stars for decades and these Chuck 70’s fit me perfectly in a size 7 for anyone wondering if there is a fit difference between them. I purchased the Universe Teal and Tawny Owl versions and both are nice colors. The Only thing I’d change is the shoelaces, they should be a little longer and thicker. If these Chuck 70’s hold up at least as well as regular Allstars I’ll probably never buy another pair of regular Allstars again.
Beautiful shoes and arrived in great condition, I just can't wear them because I mistakenly ordered the wrong size. This is because the website makes this very confusing! There is no specification that the sizes listed are for MEN so I ordered a size 7 thinking these were unisex sizes and when they arrived, they were a men's size 7/women's size 9! To make it worse, when I ordered there was no explanation that these were final sale so I can't even return them. So if you shop for women's sizes make sure you check the sizing on the CONVERSE website and size down! JD Sports, I recommend providing more info for your online customers.
Very wrong size and label , my daughter outgrew big kids size 4 converse and wearing 5.5 now in most of her shoes. Ordered these converse in 5.5 women size and received 5.5 shoe that is smaller than her old kids size 4 shoes . Markings on the shoes are wrong, New one show US 5.5 W, UK 3.5 . old one shows US 4 UK is still UK3.5 , so US sizes are way off.
I bought these and they were a men’s size so I had to return and reorder them and they sold out. Then the app said they restocked and then they sold out again! Clearly Converse needs to just stick with the classic Chuck Taylor in great colors, and quit trying to make Chucks futuristic. Are those even selling?
Honestly, I don't like the Chuck 70's. They're somehow both too big, with lots of heel slippage & your feet aren't secure, and too small - the toe box is very squashed and short. I've tried everything from extra soles to heel grips to gel heel socks but they just gave me blisters and squashed toes. The bottom is flat and hard and that also causes pain. As someone who finds the All Stars very comfortable and true to size straight out of the box, these are incredibly disappointing. I kept them because I love the colour but I'm beginning to regret it.
I have the black 70’s from Pat Menzies and decided to purchase the blue (enchanted waters) also. Timeless style, so does not date like the now and then styles of other brands. I always seem to have a problem with my big toe breaking through other branded sneakers and running shoes, ruining the shoes that have seen limited use. With the Chuck’s, this is not an issue with their toe caps. They look good with jeans and shorts and colours to choose from to suit your mood and changing seasons. Although they look cool, they are a bit uncomfortable for extended walking, for me anyway. When new the white stitching pops and they look clean and fresh with the glossy off white varnished finish. Enjoy, d.
I've been wearing Chucks since the 90s and these are just not the same quality I'm used to. The plastic is very shiny, the shoes seem to be more narrow than before, and the tongue is missing the tab to keep it in place with the shoe laces. They are listed as running large but in my opinion, they definitely do not. I bought my regular size (7 in women) and they actually fit very snuggly...enough so where I should have actually bought a half-size up for better comfort. Love the color but overall pretty disappointed.
