I found these shoes during a search for Women's shoes. I ordered a size 12, assuming it was a women's shoe. Conveniently, I purchased Converse low top sneakers at the same time...also size 12. After unboxing, I just put them in the closet. When I wore this pair for the first time, I noticed they were unusually large. I then compared the 2 pairs and noticed these were larger. I finally inspected the tag inside the shoe and noticed that it was a Women's size 14...Men's size 12. These are obviously going back, but I love the shoe & color so I've purchased another pair, 2 sizes down.

As far as converse go, I've had many other pairs before and I know I wear a Women's 8 (I'm usually an 8.5 or 9 in most other shoes), and this shoe fits how I had anticipated. I love the comfy sole of this shoe! One thing about this style is that it doesn't have the loop on the tongue of the shoe to keep the shoelaces in place, but I haven't decided if that's a big deal because the loop isn't always helpful anyways. Love the color I got. It looks different in different lightings, but I think that makes it versatile. I was a bit hesitant about trying the Chuck 70 model, but I would recommend it over the classic Chuck Taylor's if not for the cushioned sole alone.

First glance: the feel ok but are definitely true to size. I would get your regular size and not do the half size down that the site suggests. I did and they're a little tight at the toes. They look every bit of amazing as I hoped though!

Good for old bones. I thought my days of Chuck T's were over now that I'm past the half century mark. Bad back, knees are shot from the early skate boarding days. But these 70's change the game -- decent cushioning, some arch support, a bit more structured base. So happy to be back in Chucks.
This is my first pair of hi-top sneakers in decades, and I'm really loving them. These are super comfortable, the color is amazing (goes with so much of my wardrobe), and I have no trouble wearing these all day long. As many others have probably said, these are so easy to dress up or down and everyone should own a pair. Now I have two pairs.
Ordered the Ultraviolet - I would describe this color as being between periwinkle blue and lavender. It is a great color for when you want something light, but not white or cream. Downsized half a size and fit perfect.
I actually bought these shoes for my granddaughter. She is so very happy with them that I have bought another pair (Different color) as a Christmas gift. I was glad to see that some of your high tops come in Wide width. Perhaps I will buy a pair for myself.
I have Converse from years ago and they were so much more comfortable because the soles had a little substance to them. They were made so much better. C'mon Converse, do better! I'd buy more and pay more.
I followed the suggestion to size down since these run a bit big. At first I thought I had made a big mistake. They were a little tight and thought I was going to have to return but after 3-4 minutes of wearing them around the house the canvas material relaxed and these fit like a glove. Love the color too!
I bought a pair around Thanksgiving last year because my old pair of shoes was roughed up from walking around my college, and they have held up great! Much more durable than the original chucks, and in my opinion, look much cooler. I bought my first pair in black, which are still going strong, and am now onto my second pair in Rhubarb!
