After opting for cheaper versions elsewhere I finally caved and purchased authentic Converse and I’m so glad I did. The amount I was spending to replace worn shoes is not a problem with these. They last SO LONG. The quality is clearly worth the price as you’ll have them for a long time. I am just now looking to replace mine after 3 years wearing them everywhere. For reference the knockoffs would only last about 3-4 months of heavy use.

I have nothing but huge love for my Converse high tops! I didn't really get into Converse until I was in my thirties as I could never find any on a low budget back in that time. I had the rare double tongue version, which I absolutely loved, but since my teenage daughter became the same size foot as I have, I have now 'lost' them to her, even though I can 'borrow' them whenever I like! The converse I've had, have all lasted very long and definitely worth the money and NEVER goes out of fashion! I've worn them with shorts, skirts, jeans, trousers and dresses, and they look absolutely amazing with anything. At my daughter's prom, many girls wore them under their beautiful prom dresses, which made me smile, I wish I'd have worn some under my wedding dress many moons ago!

The original and the best! Easy to wear with many casual looks, pretty reasonably priced, and generous sizing. I love my all stars and have owned several pair over the years. They wear about the same as any canvas sneaker, but look better doing it. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is that as a heavy person the insoles have a limited life before they become uncomfortable to wear for long periods. For that I have other shoes. When I was thinner I had no issues. Otherwise this is an awesome iconic shoe that can be worn by all ages.

A Classic, But Better...

All the coolness and old school style of your basic Chuck, but on the deluxe side. Fit as expected. More padding in the foot bed. More substantial durable canvas upper. Sewn in emblem. Slight shine on the toe cap. Better traction, more grippy than regular Chucks. This edition has been upped in the quality, all the way around. And, in burgundy, not the easiest color to find. My son is very happy with these.

I used them all the time because it allows my feet to breathe, feel relaxed and hugged so I can do everything, I can go to the gymnasium, I can go to work, go shopping or just go out anywhere with the shoes on. They are also very stylish, it goes with everything, I use them with my formal uniforms, with my clothes for work, with my gym clothes and I always use them with my regular clothes, they are my go to shoes and it just looks amazing. I highly recommend these shoes because they are unisex, have amazing colors and are durable. I think they are a 5 star quality and completely worth your money.

Cute but so painful

Love the look of these shoes and they’re comfy for the first 10 minutes of wearing them, but if you’re wearing them any longer than that RIP your feet. The toe is way too narrow compared to other Converse I’ve owned, squeezing your toes together and creating painful blisters on them. The canvas is very tough and digs in to the back of your leg, leaving bruises, rashes, or even more blisters. I was so excited to wear these on a trip to London but was left with bleeding feet (hence the reason why I haven’t been able to return them, they literally are stained with my blood). Praying that they loosen up a bit and don’t cause as much pain, because they’re insanely expensive!

Excellent finally I can wear converse

I have ordered many different sizes based on reading the reviews, saying to size down. I have found this to be incorrect, or perhaps the people who say that do not have that much of a wide foot.My foot is E width. Normal converse size 6 slices off my little toes.The size 5.5 in wide fit , does fit but upon walking I the house you can feel your little toe being knocked and the back of the heel being knocked.I realised this would lead to blisters, so I then ordered the 6 wide fit. I have them in black too. They feel roomy when you first put on and there is a bit of room near the heel, but I believe you need this room to prevent the blisters. I have worn them outside for a few hours successfully without pain. I have wide feet, these fit great!

I bought my normal size 6.5 and they fit fine, I think I could have got away with a 7 but didn’t want to risk them having too much space in the toe. I would go for your normal size unless you want them more spacious. Width is great, only slight rubbage on the left little toe which is understandable as they taper.I’m not used to have such a flat / thin sole though so it’s taking a little getting used to but these are my first converse for years as they’ve always been too narrow. Result!

Wide fit indeed!

So happy that Converse has made wide-fit models. I've small but wide feet and I always have to size up because of the width of my feet. I've had multiple pairs of Converse but never a wide-fit model. I was doubtful of the pair being actually wide fit, as many shoes, even though advertised wide-fit, really aren't that wide. But these are so roomy and comfy for my wide feet. First pair of wide-fit shoes where I acutally feel that they're wide fit!When I ordered the pair, I sized up (as I usually do because of my wide feet) but I could have stayed true to size and they would have fit perfectly :)
