The Chuck Taylor All Star High Top is the sneaker with a worldwide cult status. It is characterized by its distinctive silhouette, the patch with a central star at ankle height, and its cultural authenticity. And like all cult icons, it gets better the longer you wear it. For generations, these classic colors, the wellknown quality, and the vulcanized rubber sole have made the All Star a cult sneaker. Originally, the Chuck Taylor All Star sneaker was developed for the basketball court. However, it soon conquered the scenes of rebels, rockers, rappers, artists, dreamers, thinkers, and individualists, and it has remained a symbol of personal style and individual selfexpression to this day.

I love the sneakers and I love this brand. I have loved it forever! I have always felt that these are fun, comfortable, and durable, and they never go out of style.. All in all a great value. But recently I purchased a pair as a gift for a young family member. Within three months the entire side of the shoe tore out just above the ankle. I was really shocked since the sneakers generally can be worn for literally years! I did contact the company and didn’t really get any satisfaction as far as a return or refund. This may have been a one time incident, and these things do happen.

I love love love converse! They are my most repeated shoe purchase. They are cute and timeless, and can go with any outfit. The quality is great, they are durable, one pair has lasted about two years for me I have a pretty active lifestyle. The fit is great, I have wider feet and have a hard time finding shoes that fit well, but these fit me perfectly and are so comfortable! They are not the best shoes for running or working out, they don’t have enough ankle support, but are amazing for hanging out or running in errands. These are my favorite shoes!

The shoe offers a snug fit and adequate support, making it a reliable choice for everyday wear. The rubber outsole provides excellent traction, ensuring stability on different surfaces. While the simple yet iconic design remains largely unchanged, the availability of various color options allows for personal expression and customization. One potential drawback is the minimal arch support, which may not be ideal for those requiring extra comfort for extended periods. Additionally, the canvas material may show signs of wear over time, but some appreciate the worn-in look as part of the sneaker's character.

I'm a CONVERSE junkie. I LOVE THEM! At this time I have all the colours in flat tops and recently started shopping on the actual website for my platforms. Contrary to the site and many reviews, my exact size 10 W fits me correctly so I think their sizes run fine. My job requires standing/ walking for 11 plus hours and I have no complaints from my feet. The break-in for me took 1 day then all was easy-peasy. I've tried the additional ortho-sole and it was fine but to be honest, I didn't really need it. The ones I tried w/o I really didn't feel a big difference. THEY ARE ALL SUPER COMFORTABLE. I love that the platforms make me look so cool too! I RUN to the site anytime I hear of a sale! Get 'em!!!
These pink Converse are an absolute dream come true! Not only is the color vibrant and fun, but they're also unbelievably comfortable. I can wear them all day without any issues, which is a huge plus for me.I also want to give a big shoutout to FinishLine. They were incredibly efficient in processing my order and getting it shipped out to me. Communication was top-notch too; I always knew where my package was and when to expect it.If you're looking for a pair of stylish and comfortable Converse, look no further!
My daughter loves Converse so I buy her a new pair for school every year. She got the light pink this year and they are so cute. Such a beautiful shade of pink🩷I was hoping it wasn't medium pink like Pepto. Comfy as usual. Last year her black pair lasted the whole year worn during the week almost every day because she ignores any other brand we buy. I'll see how long these last they are lighter in color so they might get dirty looking but I'm not above washing them plus I sprayed them with sneaker protectant especially for canvas. Definitely recommend these and the color.
I’m gonna say it’s true to size or even runs a lil small because I sized a half size down because it says this style runs large but it does not. It’s weird because I have other pairs in the same size that feel fine. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s made differently that it’s more fitted but either way. Don’t size down. And yes the material is different. The ones before, the textile feels like canvas, as it should. This one feels like felt for some reason on the inside. Not what I was expecting. But I examined it too late to return it so womp womp. Yeah it’s different. And the emblem. Something is just off about it. Maybe because it’s made in Indonesia this time instead of Vietnam. I’ll show the difference. The Green one is the new one. Idk I’m upset
I started wearing All Stars about sixty years ago. They were my go-to shoe except for church with my family. By the time I was fifteen I was wearing a size 13 shoe. By the time I was seventeen I was wearing a solid size 14. No more All Stars for me. I could find no place with size 14 All Stars. Years passed and the electronic revolution took full hold. On a whim recently, I ventured onto shoe store websites but alas no size 14. Then the ephifany. Cheque the Converse website. And there they were, size 14 All Stars. I immediately ordered two pair and waited with great expectations for their delivery. When they arrived I was greatly pleased. The exact same shoe I remembered and they fit. Great shoes that are super light and comfortable. I am unaware as to how long size ... MoreI started wearing All Stars about sixty years ago. They were my go-to shoe except for church with my family. If you have normal width feet like I do, you probably don't want to listen to the web site recommendation to go a half size down. They are ridiculously narrow. I wear a 5.5 in sandals and flats and a 6 in sneakers, since I wear socks. The 5.5s were WAY too narrow, and I've never had an issue with shoes being too narrow. The 6s are better, though almost on the edge of being too narrow still. And even looking right down at the toe box, it even looks too narrow for the rest of the shoe. I also tried a 6.5 but they fit like the 6s, just longer. I have to say these were much better fit-wise 20-30 years ago. And if you read all the complaints about people saying these run too narrow, you'd think they'd change something...
I bought my Chucks in March 2023. Nine months later, in December, the inside canvas has worn down to expose the plastic bits in the heel of both shoes. I work from home and spend my entire day in house shoes. When I go for walks, I wear different walking shoes. These shoes have had subjectively little streetwear and as evidence, the soles are still in near-perfect condition. The construction inside the shoe is apparently absolute garbage now.Now here's the part that makes me really mad. I buy really good socks, and I take incredible care of them so they last forever. The socks are completely shredded where the plastic rubs against the sock. The fact that I don't have blisters and didn't notice the plastic rubbing is a testament to the quality of socks I wear… Converse, you owe me $120 worth of socks.
